Hey so I planted these 2 Autos on the 19th back in September and they’re already into flowering. I’ve done a couple grows already and I’ve run into the same issue every time where the internode spacing decreases at the top and the buds get real close and I haven’t been able to figure it out myself. Ive lost the tops on 2 other plants from the mold. The lights as high as it can go in the tent. Any suggestions?

Well u could always lift ur light. I get more compact growth like that depending on strain n mostly on old skunk lines have they crazy tight internode spacing but if I’m trying to keep plants small I’ll blast em with light n they stay smaller, if I lift early in flowering you can probably encourage a larger stretch pretty easy

Thats pretty much the norm what they do with all strains as they mature, they grow allternate nodes and stack on the main top(s) thats what you want really..if you cant control the humidity, enviroment id try topping a week before flip for smaller buds and keep your air movement circulating.you can purchase inline filters too that wwill prevent spores from entering your room till they drop in performance..

Had this issue with my last grow cause i didn't have enough air flow. Only lost 1 bud though thankfully. I ordered a bigger dehumidifier and added another fan. Dont think its gonna happen again. You might need the same. More airflow and a dehumidifier.

I agree its the environment and not the plants node spacing......Look at the pic of the month.......they're not worried about tight node spacing......# 1 is the environment.....More air and vent the space with out going air......you need to vent out old and bring in new

They will stretch to compete for pollen, the taller ones get layed first. You're right about environment, low light, temp swings, stale air,and high humidity will cause stretch too.
