That 8" rule only applies to OPC's not home grows and it still counts as a clone and must be accounted for but not classified as an immature plants. 8" x 8" in a 2" cube is the actual specs that count as a cutting, once it excedes that you are required to tag with a MMED tag and transfer it from cutting to immature plant in the METRC system.

If you pull the get a warrant card it goes from just looking at your grow and confirming compliance to tossing your entire house and getting you for whatever they find. So you better be sure that your grow is the only thing you have and it is in compliance when they come back. In most cases they will detain you until they get back with the warrant so its not like your going to be able to run around and correct anything, hide cash, hide guns, cut plants to get in your numbers or anything like that.

I've been thru 7 or 8 compliance checks at home grows and countless ones at commercial state licensed warehouse grows, that's just the way it is...when you become licensed either at your house with a red card or at a commercial warehouse you basically agree to allow those checks, the language is already in there and all that illegal search and seziure stuff is something you give up when you sign on the dotted line for the opportunity too actively grow, consume, and sell an illegal drug without state procecution.

Get ready for the caregiver crackdown just around the corner, that's when some real fun begins

7 or 8? Well that answers the question. Just guessing but i bet tk had more than three plants in the bloom room. lol. Why do you get so much attention? Cops seen my outdoor grow once, they were there for something unrelated. Just looked at the plants nobody said anything. We had three 75's a 50 and a 36 back then I think. But that was getting kind of stupid I thought. And now that I dont have any partners the chances of cops happening by is very slim. If I dont give them a good reason I hope not to have anybody ever counting my plants. Not sure what i will do if they do come asking to see the plants.

Crackdown on caregivers is inevitable, I remember something happened last year, they wanted to go after the few of them stacking more than five cards. Most doc's seem to be limiting plants to 24. 12 or less in bloom, and I dont think anybody cares about those small numbers. I do feel safer in a small town. No swat team going to be knocking on the door if my neighbors hear gun shots. Not to mention snap pops. lol.

Couple of them were 200-300 plants indoors flip floppin 24K flower rooms and a couple 1/2 acre+ outdoor grows, still within my numbers and under 5 cards..Electric company sold me out each time. All power companies out here are in cooperation with local police, it will at least trigger a compliance check. So keep in mind when your power bill hits $2000-$3000 a month in a a small residence and especially in a rural area, chances are your going to get a knock

Thursday the CO state legislature passed the new slate of rules for regulating caregivers state wide...the hammer is coming.

Mandatory registration of all caregivers with state medical registry and the MMED

Must register actual grow location

Required to register all patients with their registry number and plants allowed

Grow will be subject to local and state inspections for code compliance ie electrical, building, and fire

Must have your state issued caregiver card and have all information current or be subject to criminal action...no affirmative defense allowed

Specific caregiver/patient transactions only with cost of production figures required..no selling extra meds outside your specific patient relationships

May be subject to taxes if your not crafty

With all respect for Tk and the farm fam, the police ain't your friend, at all. That compliance shit from the cops is prepostourous. They don't even know the rules and regs yet, they done got sued for all their jumpshit, and more. No warrant , and without a lawyer present, tell em to have a nice day until one is issued. If you don't own a gun especially tell em to kick rocks.
If their looking at you now, well that means they have a hunch, and that's just what it is. A hunch is not prosecutable.

Grow hard, and grow enough, these
Centers, Politicians, agencies, want control of all of it.

Well fucking said bro! If people think the cops are paid to come count your plants and tell you have s nice day you are dead wrong. They are there to make money and that means they want you in jail.

If you sign the dotted line allowing them to come to your home when ever they want that's your bad. Might as well leave the door open!
It's one thing to have a workplace to caregive and they can stop by when they want but there ain't no fucking way I'm gonna bend over and take it up the ass at my own home. Not gonna happen

For me, I am not a threat to society, nor am I a violent person, but please do not make an attempt to seduce me with no B.S.. If I need a lawyer, well it complicates urrthing...
However an outcome we know who the dumass s in society really are.

We are in a med state. it's not about a hunch at all, they know your growing, your registered with the state, your grow is no secret. No one is getting seduced by BS, its what you sign up for when you register for your med card. It sucks that it is federally illegal but it is so for the most part the state is allowing you to break federal law and as a result you give a few of your rights, just the way it is. I would agree with you in a non med, non regulated state but in Colorado its pretty transparent already....

I'm curious of all the people commenting has actually ever been faced with the question or choice in a med state or any state for that matter? my guess is 99.9% of those saying they would do this and that have never and will never be faced with the decision either way.

As stated, no disrespect at all towards anyone on the farm. Tex, you prolly took the seduce part wrong. I mean being seduced by a police officer, as in his or her story to get in my door. Med state/ rec state, I see no reason to let any law enforcement in my door without warrant. Period.
As for the 99.9 thingy, I have had em at my door, and I have politely told em to kick rocks, and been violated. I am no spring chicken,
Been charged when my plant count was right. If we don't take a stand who controls this? I know many officers personally, seems like the good ones are the ones that are ole skool. The new ones are the biggest pricks ever, unless they somehow see the light. Besides it's their job to catch bad guys, someone growing a plant or plants for that matter doesn't sound bad to me. They allow centers to grow a billion plants, please spare me the Fed soup. Mmj is illegal, period. One plant to ten billion. That dotted line means absolutely nothing to them boys(feds).
If they come your fuct, a license, mips, grow, center, ain't gonna help.

Ok folks my last rant, as we all know my stance. Your tone really controls the situation with an officer. Here's my problem. When and if you are contacted by L.E. then you have a right to tell them to get a warrant. By letting them in you basically agree to let them turn your world inside out. Your plants are not the issue. And yes I have seen the reply to be straight before letting them in.
However, your open to so much more. A home is your sanctuary! Why agree when it's your right to tell em nicely to do their job?
And yes they may leave if you are straight, but again it's your right.
Turn the scenario around, and think about what an officer would tell you if you were at his door asking to come in and snoop around. What are they going to tell you?

My buddy in aurora had the cops disregard all paperwork and cut his shit down to 6 for each adult on the lease.
he fought in court...
... and he paid for an impossible to defend "odor violation"

. Boom, it happens, it has probably changed since then. TK said the D town was limiting to 12 without the proper paperwork, license, etc.
There are rogue officers out there, and they don't give a dam about your situation, paperwork, etc.

oh, this seemed more purposeful.... and it happened to coincide with aurora beginning to allow storefronts...

In fact... it was almost like the mayor of aurora wanted to shut down as many "grey market" caregivers as he could immediately before his british buddy opened up a couple rec storefronts...

Nederland, besides considering home grows a nuisance, looks at it as a threat to their sales tax revenue and have fixes in the works that include enforcing rental home licensing and that will include "life/safety inspections" as well as building code enforcement. Gilpin County has a new limit for 6 or 12 per residence that will be a $1000 code violation from what I have heard.
