If there is a fair amount of it present in places such as bedrooms etc, will it inhibit natural sunlight from being absorbed by adhering to leaves?.

I dont think it will block light but it will cause mold ro pathogens to attack your plant do you foliar spray

Morning free,

These are indoors in the A/C, so mold/insects are not an issue. Think I'll simply mist w/water, couldn't hurt.

Have a good day!

Dont think it should cause any problems blocking light unless u got dust completely caked on the leaves. Having wood floors i have noticed it gets dusty in my room, so besides the cleaning lady every other week i tend to vacume my room quite frequently, as well as bought a hepa air purifier/ionizer. Heard different opinions on foliar feeding, but it should knock off the dust as well as prevention from bugs. And even though they are indoors in the A/C mold/insects can still become a problem.

Yep, that's my issue as well. my home was restored in 2000 but originally built in 1906. I love it, but it's a bitch to keep clean. I might try a small amount of foliar feed, but probably will simply heavily mist them every week or so until late flowering.

I think they just need some simulated rain on occasion.

Or the shop vac....lol. I'll be careful w/the water, a fan after spraying is probably a good idea as well.
