Yes, this is only my 3rd grow. I’m still figuring out the timing of when to flush.

The best time to flush is when there are excess nutrients in the soil.

Or did you try to boost your feed with extra P&K. Just a little will hasten autumn in the garden.

Foxfarm, maintenance flush w/Sledgehammer according to feeding schedule. Same product at harvest or plain water last week and dry a day or two before chopping them.

Boosting the p&k shouldn’t induce fade

Fades is from cutting the food out

Maybe your misinterpreting the word fade

Semantics bro autumn/fade same thing. And yes stopping feeding starts the fade. However a lot of folks try to boost flower production with additional P,K. When a little is added to an existing flower mix it can quickly move towards toxicity, hasten the grow and autumn comes to the garden much sooner. I know from first hand knowledge doing this. You land up harvesting several weeks earlier because of it. I have a link somewhere that explains it.

Whether using a PK Booster or adding
P,K in Individual amounts it hastens grow.
"I added 1/64th tsp water soluble P & K to my existing flower side mix last grow. Besides what I said below, it also hastened the grow

"PK Boosters are nutrient supplements that encourage plants to hit the flowering stage earlier by producing a chemical change within the plant. They contain both Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) which together will ensure increased flower size, potency and will speed up growth.

https://ghedirect.co.uk Let's Talk About PK Boosters)."

So adding these to your mix is dicey. A very small amount can push your plants towards toxicity. Stalks and stems start to turn red, some leaves yellow and brown spot. Toxicity, the stalks will redden and begin frothing."

Speeding up growth = start of fade
