There is no substitute for some good screens for sifting or some good bags for bubble washing! Sounds like you have a good amount of material so it might be worth the investment! The four screen sets usually come in 60, 90, 110, and 200 mesh! I don’t know how the screens you have stack up with that! I haven’t bubble washed, but I’m gonna get some bags and learn! assortment of loose and small buds. Dry but very sticky with resin, as you may well know.
I tried to put them right on the silk screen (150 M), but that's a non-starter. So I grabbed
the nut cruncher from the kitchen and ground it onto the screen and it looked like this:

Then with a nitile glove, I started sifting it around on the screen until it stopped clumping.
It's dry but very sticky, and it clumps up easily, so I sifted until it lost the sticky. I got this:

It's very aromatic and clumpy whern I moved with a card, and very fine. Darker than
I thought it should be so I wanted to ask. I took pics then my phone died so I had to
put it on the xharger a while, so I kept sifting,

Now it's a bigger pile, maybe a few grams and I went through
about an ounce. Am I doing this alright? I thought it would
be lighter, but remember I kept my flowers until the resin was
over 70% amber, looking for more CBN content. Please advise.

Yeah, it’s a lot of work! It’s a cold weather sport! And a low humidity sport! If you sift when it’s in the 30s and low 40s, then it doesn’t melt on you and get all sticky and gunk things up! Usually when it starts clumping, it’s too warm! When it’s too cold to feel your fingers and you get shocked when you touch the door knob, then you have got good sifting weather! Cold to keep it from melting and low humidity to create static electricity so you can do the final cleaning and come up with a pure product! The multiple size screens just help you separate the heads from the contaminant! Did you just put it through one size screen? It looks pretty dirty! In sifting, green is not good! That green is probably plant matter that you don’t want in it! There is a learning curve! So you wanna make sure you have the right equipment and the right environmental conditions!
