I don’t have much room left for the plants to grow upwards, I’ve been topping every few weeks to fill in the bottom part of the plant and stop some growth. Is that too much stress on the plant or is it okay? I plan on topping one more time (tomorrow) and then flip them in 3-4 weeks.

Also, plan on starting to run c02 for the first time ever. I’m using the ac infinity c02 controller and smart regulator to be able to control from my phone, any advice for someone using c02 for the first time? How fast will I go through a 20 pound tank in a 5x10 tent (roughly) I thought about just putting my good plants in a 5x5 and leave my not so good plants outside the tent if I would go through 20 pound tank in a few days.

Topping is my main way of shaping my plants. I strive to do it in a way that prioritizes good colas. That requires envisioning how the plant will grow when it's time to flip to flower. Good cola development requires good light dispersion and air flow.

Pics of the whole plant indeed would be helpful.

Too much topping makes you veg for a long time.but you should be fine.
Just dont focus in filling the bottom then when flower comes you dont have room at the top.

Or top once, defoliate and throw a scrog over your plants, tuck and grow all top colas with less work.
