I'd never try and clone a auto but if someone does get one to root and grow more than few grams i'd like to see it.

Hey DMAN....

Everything that was posted so far is 100% accurate!!! Mostly...

But the thing is, yes, you totally can clone an autoflower.....

I've done it to prove people wrong....

Yet they actually, in turn, had the last laugh, ish...

Successful auto clones harvested weight by Bilber- .0000000000420 ounces!

Yes, autos can get cloned.

No, I will Never clone a auto again!

Fun, yes, but not worth the final outcome.

I appreciate the reply, and your opinion is valued and could be correct, but as I have already addressed, what I saw in my growth of Shelly (an Auto) that was harvested twice and vegged again for a third, that the new shoots grown were not automatically flowering even though her calendar age would have predicted, as you insist, such. Whereas instead grew through two vegetative stages into a two flowering stages and harvested twice. Could the rooting process impact that? Maybe.

Now there are proven instances of it being successful, in terms of feasibility, and the autoflower network has several instances of successful autoflower cloning. Here is one.View attachment 2614091
So as stated, I'll be the huckleberry here. We'll see what happens. But again, and again seriously, I really appreciate your reply.

Anecdotal experience doesnt prove anything, genetics are weird, sometimes you get lucky , happy growing

You're right it doesn't prove a anything but anecdotal experience is many times the basis of empirical research and further understanding. For instance cloning day neutral cannabis is already achieved through culture tissue but not in a backyard practical homegrown setting. So can it be done. Yes it can. Under what settings? That is not fully investigated or understood.

Happy growing to you too.
