Chop it, hang it in a dark area and try to have some sort of air flow like small fan blowing in the area to circulate the air while its drying

@josh65 you can trim off the fan leaves and bigger leaves before hanging to dry OR you can wet trim and leave the buds on a screen before tucking away to dry. You want to try and keep humidity around 60% with very gentle airflow, darker is better......so perhaps a closet or cupboard......you can use the grow area for a few days before firing up the next round

Just for future reference, no one can tell you if a plant is ready to harvest or not without scrutinizing its trichomes under magnification. If anyone looks at a picture of a pot plant on the internet and thinks they can tell you how much time you have left before you should harvest it, they're full of sh*t.

None of us are there with you. None of us can tell without looking at the trichomes of the whole plant in real life under magnification.

Get a jeweler's loupe or some sort of digital magnification device that plugs into your phone or laptop. You want your trichomes to be milky white. They will never all be the same color, they will never all progress at the same rate, but you want to mostly see milky white with very little clear and very little orange.

Only you can prevent forest fires. Wait, that's a different forum.

Only you can tell if your plant is ready to harvest, and only after you've looked at the trichomes of the whole plant under magnification.
