So after messing around on rollitup( which most ppl are complete pricks might i add) was I formed that my light is worthless and best shot was to grow only 1 plant if I was lucky. I'm fairly new to this and rollitup where just there to laugh at me. I have a 5×3×6 closet (basement) grow. My temps during the day (lights on) range between 76-82 and at night 68-72. Mylar on all walls, and a white 75w light and a 600 w led also. So my question is this will this light be sufficient enough for a couple plants?

You can be successful with that light it’s just going to take some trial and errors till you get a hang of how it works.

I Think 600 Watts LED grow light is sufficient for your growth. If your mars hydro led grow light is not working you can choose any other type LED grow light that works perfectly for your growth that sends you high spectrum light like spider farmer sf 1000 which is the most reviewed and used grow light among the marijuana growers.

It looks like that light will work for the time being. Rollitup is a cess pool and always was, don't feel bad. Your light is probably is closer to 200 or 300 watts though (They fudge the numbers to sell) 300 watts is okay for now but you will want more in the future. You could always take it apart in the future and learn how it all works and rebuild one with quality parts.

I use a true 300watt from the wall LED for veg in a 4x4 space, works great. But thats not enough light to flower in that space. IMO

Novice here so caution on my advice - I had lightening issues (plants were punky) and after some research I learned nothing really matters except for the PAR value at the top of the plant. I bought a SpotOn quantum PAR meter and started to measure my lights. What I thought was my biggest light had the PAR value equal to standing in the shade outside. That light was sold on Ebay.

I switched to Mars and it was a major difference.

Plants look fine, so the light works in veg, don't know about flower, like Diesel says, you'll have to wing it.

My first indoor grow was under 160W of T-12 fluorescent lights. I pulled in a full 22 grams of sure-beats-having-nuthin' bud! And that 22 grams might be an exaggeration!

You can grow a few small plants under your lights, but as they grow, it could be more like 2 plants.

When deciding whether it's worth it to do a small grow in less-than-perfect conditions, ask yourself these questions:

1. How much weed will you have in 3-4 months time if you do a small, amateur grow?
2. How much weed will you have in 3-4 months time if you DON'T do a small, amateur grow?

Tha k @1diesel1 bit busy for the next while so may miss some.

Can I aske the make and model?

I will assume about 180-200w at the wall. You can find this under power consumption. You ideally want about 30w per sq ft. For flowering photoperiod plants. If you have autos you can do 20w per sq ft as they dont need a reduced 12/12 light period.

So if its 180w you can flower a 3x3 area. No matter the tent size just keep the plants inside the 3x3 and your good to go.

Yes there are much better lights out there but that doesn't means your will not work if used appropriately.

When it comes to light, unlike water and nutrients, more is usually better.

I used a similar light on my last run. It was decent but it felt underpowered in the end. It will definitely do the job along with good nutrients but could be better.

I see 7 plants in your pic. And some LST going on. You’ll want more than just the one light. My opinion tho

Its like I have done in the past, with a grow simular to your set up actually I only had a 600 watt mars hydro and pretty big grow space, now as I would look at my grow and tap my forehead as I tried to think to myself what I could do to make the best of what I had, it dawned on me as I looked at how much light was not hitting my plants, now not having much light I sure didnt waste any of it so I built a make shift wall out of cardboard and reflective e-blankets, and brought my grow from 5x5 to 2x3. I confined as much light as I could and later on as my plants got taller I shot a few CFL s down at the sides to make up for light lost down low, but I love indica plants and for this reason they stay short and uniformed and yield more because regardless of the light size, their big fan leaces is gonna catch all there is to catch, anyways welcome and hope this story gave you some ideas or helped in some way, those blurple lights man I have them in every grow mixed with white the blurple I believe brings out the trichomes.
