I thought that if the wat sits for 24 hours, most all of the chlorine is gone.Edit: I realized I posted 2 test (2 different wells) the well my tap comes from is the (TWF) results
So with my plants getting larger and soon to be repotted I’m going to be using my tap water over the bottled water I was using.
I have my local water test results here and I was wondering if someone with more experience in this subject could chime in.

The chlorine residual has me a little concerned. Is this tap water going to be ok with my organic soil?? Thanks, you wonderful people.
***Correction - NOT citric acid but ascorbic acid (vitamin C)Is it chlorine or chloramine? Plain chlorine will be removed by leaving it open to air for about 24 hrs or throw an airstone with a pump and bubble it off. Chloramine is chlorine bonded with ammonia. You need to chemically break that bond, usually with carbon filter. I have used humic acids and citric acid to neutralize the chlorine but wtf happens to the ammonia?

Could someone confirm this, please
Closest mine? Did you mean closest water well? If so it’s 2.7 miles from my househttps://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/01904160903242417 water seems fine. How close is the closest mine?
Organic living soil contains microorganisms that chlorine will kill.Look how many people water gardens with hoses. I think soil is very forgiving. My tap is raised by the city to a pH of 8 to prevent corrosion. Its not ideal but it works. I settle the water for 24 hours for cannabis but the flowers and tomatoes do fine straight from the hose.

You do you. I’ll off gas my water before it goes in my soil.Debatable

Ok I’m most likely going to cancel the order on that filter then. That's a tiny amount of chlorine.... it will not harm anything and chlorine is actually a micro nutrient.
You have 0.09pmm, max in tap water is 4ppm and even that's fine to use. See where it's says the max values 4
It's chlorine so can be off gassed in probably a couple hrs at those levels with aeration.
Chloramine needs to be treaded to remove which is what most municipalities use these days. But like I say chlorine in tap water is absolutely of no concern. The only time I would bother treating is if using it for a tea and near the max of 4ppm
Problem is many research answers and then accept them. That's a real issue in cannabis as there is more bioscience and misapplications of information then facts.Ok I’m most likely going to cancel the order on that filter then.
There wasn’t any chloramine on my local water test so I’m assuming it just isn’t there. This small amount of chlorine might even be beneficial?
I’ve been reading a lot and there is a lot of 50/50 split opinions, so it can be confusing. I’ve seen you in a lot of posts and it seems you know your stuff. Thanks for chiming in.
