What’s up. So I the tent got is 24x24x36. I have a seedling sprouting and seeds arriving today. Do I have enough space for at least one plant in this tent? I have the Vivosun 1000E so I can’t dim my light. Just don’t know if my light will ever be too close and kill my plant.

yeah enough for one bigger or 4 smaller plants, 36'' is rather limited height for the plant when you take into account pot size, and space required for hanging light.

so preferably i would grow photoperiods with some topping, mainlining, lst, and/or scrog to achieve an even canopy that fill the whole 24x24 area.

Yes you can! LST and or scrog or supercropping will be your friend is your light power adjustable? That’s your biggest constraint, minima height I have this net set at 14” and my power at 60% (60w, 100w max power)

I consider this net about 30% full, at about 45-50% I’ll flip and continue tucking under the net for the first 10 days of flower then let them turn up the last few days of stretch gotta maximize distance to light

For reference that is a 12 gallon fabric pot folded down in half so about 5 gallons of soil with a RQS Trop cookies purple and a Banner OG in the same pot

Makes perfect sense. I did grab photoperiod seeds so that’s good news. That’s great to hear dude thank you for the input. I will look into all of those.

Damn that’s impressive making that work with that space, I’m over here worried about one single plant at a time lol.

No sir my light is not adjustable, simply on and off. (Any recommendations on how I can manually dim some light if I need to?). The seeds I got are feminized green crack, don’t know if that info changes anything.

I’ve never manually dimmed a light but these may be worth a shot for the $17, to see if they work, 100w may be a bit much off the bat at this distance

This is my bedroom house plant i usually leave the Velcro door open it has a plastic clear inner door can see through so I leave that closed so it’s still a sealed system with the 2x4 veggie tent (exhaust is on the 2x2 the ducting is pulling the air through from the vegetable tent )

Kinda just a fun little project lol

I have finished one cman x okie in there single plant in 1/2 gallon pot she was 63g dry and cured it’s nice to play with that setup it’s like a little mini kit haha

Damn that reminds me I gotta put together a new light for this 4x4

A lot can be done in that little space though, couple of the buds from that plant

This is only my 2nd run in it so I added the scrog, topping will be key no matter the method, as @HerbalEdu said mainlining is a great choice too, but all depends what you wanna try to accomplish in it

I’m gonna do some research and see if those will be compatible with my light, and if not what I can to do reduce some.

I’m really just hoping to get any type of yield out of this first plant so I can see what the process is like, so when my seeds are planted I’m ready for it

i have sort of an OCD optimizing filling space with colas with the shortest veg possible.

so with a 24x24 tent i would probably do 4 smaller plants in 6L (1,6 gal) pots

less plants usually imply longer veg to fill the space before fllipping to flower.

Yeah that’s why I did 2 lol, but it’s only been about 2 weeks and they are chuggin now I think I could flip in a week but we’ll see how full the net is

That is pretty small. You would be best using clones so you can flip super fast.
