New growth is typically lighter green than the surrounding mature leafs.

Hey I'm new around here, too.
Regardless, I agree with the previous post. Once the new growth starts sucking up the added nutes, they (should) always turn just as green. If you see tips greener as it grows out its a good sign.

I have no intention of high-jacking your thread, but have an anomaly (of sorts) for us regrading a lighter tree:
Both plants are same species, grown same time, same way, same nute regimen from the same reservoir, same everything. The only difference is one is on the left and one is on the right! Agreed, this sounds political but I'll refrain. However, the one on the left is much lighter in comparison.

My own personal perspective tells me the one on the left (the lighter one) knows she's on the left, and therefore awakens at 4am everyday with all intentions on just f*c*ing with me.
I think I'll switch 'er to the right.

My wife rotates the plants twice a day, sometimes more. It fixes the problem you have.

Why are your lights on the side and not the top?

Hey thanks! There is a Viparspectra P2500 on top.

I get the why of rotation, but with RDWC and even lighting the idea of it piques my interest. Would this have anything to do with it being on the end and not in the middle where there is cross-current back to the reservoir?

One thing I forgot to mention is I fimmed the one on the right and its (obviously) growing slower as a result. I wouldn't normally fim an Indica outside of a controlled environment but its an experiment of sorts, i think.

Just figured out my own answer. I should probably post before getting stoned, not after :-)

Do you have additional lights on the side to flood the lower buds with light? I have heard of modified lights but didn't know how to set up. Looks rad bro

Exactly!

These Indicas are so bushy the light doesn't penetrate well. I should'a probably snipped the lower branches, but I had 2 P1000's laying around and thought I'd put 'em to work. They are dimmed to approximately 65%. Since, the lower branches have grown to outside canopy perimeter so we'll see.

I keep notes in my head, but the next day I can't remember where I put them ;-)

The images above are from Sunday (4 days ago). Here's one from this am.

I'm still perplexed over the lighter shades of green. I'm going to work in a Cal-Mag supplement, and swap the plants to opposite sides as mentioned by @growsince79. I read in another thread about 2 pants in the same grow, one locked out while the others did not. I feel the left plant may be doing something similar due to PH fluctuation a few weeks ago. The growth on left plant is incredible. You can literally watch it grow. Leaves 3" wide in am are size of my hand by EOD.

Yeah, we are all guilty of that on occasion.
I would move the filter and stuff outside the tent. Make more room for the plants.
Someone said it has to be inside or it won't work, That is so wrong... Move it outside the tent so your ladies can grow taller buds.

Also, I would move the side lights a blit lower and angle them to hit the bottom of the canopy.

Uhm...
When I zoom in on the photo, I see a few issues.

New growth is white, yellow, light green,,green , dark green.

I see new growth that's deformed..dead edges, ...bud sites that are chomped off...bigger fan leaves show trauma.

You got something else alive in that tent?

Personally I think the light intensity is your yellowing issue.

These indicas will never reach that height. I exhaust the tent to the outside of the house as the room was heating up prior. So inside fan for this grow. However, I agree for taller plants as the space will be much required.

Yeah, you know I've been wondering about that but it doesn't solve the anomaly of the other plant being much greener under the same lights.

The pictures are garbage. I got a new Galaxy Flip3 and the cameras nowhere near what I'm used to. I ordered an iPhone 13 coming in 2 weeks. Although I am an Android guy thru and thru, the specs on the iPhone 13 cameras might just change me. Anyway, the images I posted make the right plant look lighter than it is (it is darker green). Also, it appears the left plant is beginning to show signs of getting greener today. However, both plants lack something. I am due to raise the light a few inches so will do. Thanks!

New healthy growth is light green/yellowish. Some strains more so than others. If you have bugs or trace element problems it's noticeably more intense. Looks like some of your new growth got burned or something. But your plants look good. Lighting can make such a big difference on how they look in photos. Best way to get an accurate depiction of a plant is lights off flash on or sunlight.

Once you get your phone consider the Photone app for 8-9 bucks. Once it calibrated it works very well.
Then you have ppfd instead to guide you.

I think your right! Well, you are right ;-) The plants have grown so fast over the last 2 weeks I lost track. Until a moment ago, I was 8-10" lower than manu veg recommendations. Now, I'm right in the middle for their rec's. Thanks for the kind reminder

No bugs. I keep a pretty sterile environment despite my struggles, frequent extermination outside tent and the home, sterile wipe down once a week and very careful to clean my hands and tools before fuc(*ing with anything. I also launder the scrubber pre-filter every other week. Trace elements? IDK. I do water change outs weekly and this includes sanitising buckets and hoses with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. A complete drain, sanitise, fill it and drain it again to dilute residuals, then fill it again with nutes added last. I drop the plants into temp buckets with air stones so I can take my time. This is my first hydro-grow so the curve has been steep for me, but it appears I learn after a few self-inflicted ass kickin's. Time will tell, eh?

I think you guys got it with the lights. I'll admit, I've underestimated how powerful these LED's are. The damn plant on the right being greener didn't help me much but it is 6" shorter. So... there you go.
