I'm probably being impatient here, but I planted this pound town auto about 8 days ago, and it popped through 5 days ago. It's pretty much stayed looking exactly like this for about 3 days. Typically I've seen seedlings grow a lot faster than that. If it's a runt I'll probably just toss it now and plant another seed rather than trying to save a runt plant and end up with a small yield.

Thanks all!!

You're over watering and the roots aren't functioning. Quit watering for a few days.

It also looks like you're only watering around the seedling. You need to get the entire pot of soil wet. But not right now.

The algae on the soil says it all IMO.

It is quite a crop of algae. I'd be tempted to check its trichs. Could be ready.

That is the new bio watering meter. One grows at the end of the watering and dies when you need to water again. Nice to see it being used here on the farm. Bleeding edge meets old school.

On a serious note the light may be a little strong also?
Just going from pic of the algae.
It may be fine once the soil dries out but keep your eye on it for light stress.

I didn't even notice the algae. Is it green? I'm red green colorblind so I wouldn't have even seen it if it is, I don't think

It will be fine. It will die as quickly as it came. No damage.

It’s a very good sign your over watering.

Thank you so much! I'll read it now! I'm a bit obsessed with the seedlings, so I'm positive I am over watering. I check on it too much and give it water too often
