I was able to get a video of this little shit. Not sure what they are? Russet mite, Broad mite? They are on some but not all plants. The plants that were weak in the first place they attacked. Possibly could of come in on my clones. The healthy clones (purple punch) have no mites on them. I bought my clones from 2 separate dealers. I have been spraying. They say Purple Punch is suppose to be resistant to mites. Who knows maybe the bad clones I got might not even be Purple Punch.

Pretty sure that’s a russet mite. Doesn’t matter if a plant is more resistant russets gonna get to everything they touch. Worst bug to ever get IMO

I had to scrape 32 of them. I am fighting with 12 since I have not seen any mites on them. I understand that their is a great chance on them getting them as well. My question is I have clean my veg room with Bleach. I took out my tray and bleached it, wiped it down. I sprayed bleach on the floor (cement) and just left it to dry. I heard if I get my room to 125-130 degrees it will kill all eggs. How do I do that? Do I buy a space heater and sit it in there for 2 hrs. I didn't know the they can get that hot. My space is only 250 sq ft. Any suggestions?

Don’t use a space heater!!!! I don’t know how to safely get a room that hot though.

Try pyrethrum foggers used in succession. Maybe a few days apart to give any eggs time to hatch. They make two versions of pyrethrum, one safe for edibles and the other not. Make sure to buy the right one. Or if your grow is shut down, hire an exterminator to take care of it.

Agree with Seraphine...don’t put a heater in there! Some companies that treat for bedbugs have special heaters to do that 125-130 degree treatment. I’m sure there is training to do it right. You are probably in for several chemical treatments...I have thrips and was advised to use 3 or 4 different treatment protocols and rotate them so the bugs don’t become immune. I ordered some Lost Coast plant therapy...and also some Conserve SC by recommendation. you can find both on Amazon. Let us know how you make out. Sorry

Did someone say exterminator? LOL yes, grow is down! Can I just have my guy come in and spray the rooms and that's that. That would be awesome.

Roxy, those are everyones worst nightmare. You can use a gang load of different stuff but they cost big bucks and may not work. The cheapest easiest method is those yellow pest strips from lowes or depot. They are yellow and around six bux each. Hang em in the middle of your plants for as long as you can, and do not use in bloom. They will start to die on day one and so forth.

@souf69 I have heard about that a few times now. When you say hang them in the middle of your plants are you talking literally in the middle, or above them in the middle of the room? I know sounds like a stupid question, but I have found that no question in cannabis is stupid LOL
So far I have bleached my floors and trays, sulfered the room and now boobing the room with professional exterminator.
Then when I get my clones, dipping them and being very diligent on upkeep this round. Did I miss anything?

sounds like the pest strips would do it...but follow the directions carefully: https://pestsinthehome.extension.org/be-careful-using-ddvp-strips-for-pest-control/

Right in the middle of the plant but do not smother it. This is a last resort product so please do not use these all the time and like stated not in bloom.
Some people may say use this and that but before you know it you will be paying hundreds of dollars possibly for bottles of shit you that may not help.

Are you trying to learn vector graphic imaging?

Love me some vector graphics. Use it all the time when designing for cnc and 3d printing.

Lol Roxy would know what I'm talking about. But no wake and bake. I start work at 11pm and get off at 730am. So I smoke when I get home at around 8 830 am. So it might look like a wake and bake to the uninformed, but it's actually an after work smog.

Actually, I don't know what your talking about BigCube. Sorry. But back to the mites. I have a professional pest control guy that will bomb the place with commercial grade Pyrethrum fogger. All my plants are gone. So this is to get rid of them before I start my grow again.

See my post in your other thread. Sulfur is the god send here. No need for any chems just diligent and precise care.

In the future ALWAYS do 3 sulfur dips with ALL in coming clones and then stick into quarantine. Once every other day. Doesn’t matter who they’re from. Sulfur them.

Edit: rest assured all the plants have them at this point.
