I would keep checking daily until you see amber on calyxes. Some would harvest now but I feel like those last few days of swelling are something ya don't wanna give up.

Could be the lighting, some strains take forever to finish that last bit without the right spectrum. Not necessarily anything wrong with the lighting but I have seen this happen with some of my led lights.

my lighting is 3500k with added 2700k (hlg 260 rspec) with an added led bar of orange, red, far red, IR, and uva. is there something wrong with that spectrum?

Can’t tell by the pics. Get up closer. What strain is it? I always think the last two weeks are the most important for weight and ripeness. Don’t put in all the work n patience just to rush a few days to harvest. If there’s no amber at all.....personally I’d wait. That’s the best I can tell ya without a good look at the trichomes and even that’s not the only determining factor. There’s a few I look for, trichomes being only one.

I don't lower my light intensity. I can't see why this would help. The spectrum is good and plants look healthy. I would give it some time but that's just me.

Strain-California Sour by Dusted bud genetics

Breeder rec time- 8+ weeks flowering

Lights- Hlg260 rspec (200 watts) + kindled micro flower bar(20 watts)

Medium-Mother Earth coco peat

nutes- Canna Terra full line ( vega, flores, rhizo, zyme, pk13/14, boost

Currently at day 72 since starting to reduce light by 1 hour to hit 12/12.
65 days at full 12/12. currently at 11/13, light was dropped at week 7, reduced by 30 mins a week to get to 11/13 from 12/12

these pictures taken right now before lights on at noon.
Trichomes look pretty much ALL MILKY but not seeing any amber on the calyxes. the sugar leaves are completely, or almost, all amber giving the flower a nice golden hue.

been on a reduced/no nute cycle (flush) for the past two weeks to achieve the fade in leaves.

calyxes are noticebly swollen, it looks like there is seeds inside alot of the outer calyxes.

pistils are 70-80% COMPLETELY WITHERED AND/OR RECEDED.

Only reason i am posting so much is because i cannot find any information on this strain online, and i am not sure whether it is indica or sativa dominant hybrid.

My opinion is that it is ready, in the past i have had a few grows where i may have harvested a touch early, but never have had a plant LOOK this ripe.

all my other harvests have ambered once cured, so my question is

IF MY TRICHOMES ARE ALL MILKY, SHOULDNT I HARVEST NOW BECAUSE I WILL ACHIEVE THE 10-20% AMBER ONCE CURING STARTS?

Also today i noticed right now—

She is definitely drinking less, she had been taking 2 gallon every 2 days like clockwork, the last few watering i have notciced a deffierence in what the medium looks like and she definitely is not drinking as much, maybe 2 gallons every 4 days now

The plant itself seems wobbly, as if the stems are getting weaker? i read somewhere this is signaling the end of life for the plant?

Wont i get the amber i need when she cures? or is the amber that matures on the plant different? i am looking for the highest level of THC and am worrried i will wait TOO LONG rather than too early. the tested bud i picked last week DEFINITELY gets me high for close to 50 mins with residual effects lasting close to 2 hours, so isnt that ready?!?!

also the flowers themselves are kind of getting taller and thinner at the top, as if forming a cone atthe top of the nug, reading about flower maturation on this site, doesnt that indicate the end of peak floral maturation??

i can literally count the number of still alive pistils on each cola, which would be < 10 actual pistils on each cola

pictures of fade and dying bottom leaves. also of note, the bottom internode calyxes i have been watching are starting to curl down and die, isnt that a sign of senecsence beginning?

i just cut a flower off to check.
The trichomes are definitely all cloudy and on a closer inspection off the plant i can see maybe 5% amber trichomes. if my main goal is 10-20% amber shouldnt i cut now because the trichomes will get to 10-20 amber during curing rather than cutting down at 10-20% amber then curing to more of a 30-40% amber during cure?
