hello all,

i have ordered some seeds from Cali Connection. They are supposed to be girlscout cookies. being that i have never grown this strain before and I have heard a ton of stories about people getting fake girlscout cookies, i thought that it would be best to post this image for people who actually grow it consistently to see for themselves. i understand that a strain cannot be identified in veg 100% but im looking for what you guys think about the characteristics. From what i know, it all looks right. this plant has pretty fat leaves like the girlscout does so i just want to see what you all think. again i know you wont know for sure but just let me know if it looks consistent

Cant trust cc seeds but the girl looking good bro u just never know what will come out from seeds

also im raising up three other mamas right now to determine what i will go with for my next run. my choices are

cali connection - girl scout

reserva privada - og kush

medical seeds - sour diesel - this mother plant is looking amazing ill put pics below of the kush and diesel.

feel free to give any opinions on which one i should run. i usually dont run more than one strain in my flowering room.

doesnt look like the cut I ran, although it was from sin city. just run em. Let them ladies tell you what they want, then name em.....green bud, brown bud, brick weed etc Good luck, nice looking starters

I have a friend that grew out their GSC
He said garbage and nothing even close the real deal cookies
Not Worthy IMO

There have been herm issues. Swerve was not very responsive to those who had issues. In my personal opinion, CC does have strong genetics, but there are definitely herm issues here and there. Anything I run from Swerve gets watched very closely.

Swerve(CC owner) is a dick and thinks his beans are god and if anything goes wrong it's never the beans fault...so that is why people don't like him. Despite is attitude, all his OG are the truest representation of the real OG in seed form, and is chem is legit too. But there was some controversy over which GSC cut he used. He got it well after it was popular and several cuts were already out so many say it was the wrong cut(not the original thin mints). But it defiantly was a GSC line.
Your leaves are looking right on to a GSC line...flower will be the real test.

Since he uses so many unstable/rare/unknown genetics/S1's(which most/all OG's, Sours, GSC are) that it is hard to not expect some herm issue to arise now and then. I have had good luck with his bubba and larry(identical to clone only). But swerve personally, I could care less for.

That's about the fairest assessment I have heard of CC; and I agree for the most part. I have had no specific dealings with Swerve except for testing. He did hook up the test beans, though... I got 3 10-packs of his Jamaican crosses.

I appreciate the insight guys. My curiosity is peaked now so I will definitely flower this stuff out and just keep a really close eye on it. I usually stick to one strain but in this case I plan to run it alongside the og kush after i have them both cloned out and vegged for a little while. Any interesting results I will post for you guys to see.

All bullshit aside it does look moderately like gsc. I was even gonna work a line with G.o.D and call it the cali correction series. If that tells you how i feel about swerve.
But yeah it does look kinda cookieish..
Theres gonna be better examples found in cookie seeds avail here at the farm no doubt tho
