Hi guys I recently came back from Kilimanjaro after 10 days and my Brother has been looking after my plants. Now they look like this. I transplanted them just before I left and told my brother to water with RO water only. Now they have these spots, falling leaves and generally looking very sick compared to lush Green last week.

Those type of deficiency can pop up when a plant outgrows its base as well the plant on the left has the same thing going on obviously I upped the cal mag just on that plant and it does help but after transplant to a bigger pot problem goes away

It's regular seedling mix I got from a local garden shop. Mixed in some perlite with it. I have a ppm tester, was coming at around 150ppm

Thanks! Did yours also have those dark brown spots? But I transplanted them to these square pots about 3 weeks ago. I can fit 3 rows of 6 pots in a 2x4. Are these pots too small? Looks about a gallon size pot.

Three weeks is more then enough time for a plant to developed enough roots to outgrow that container the pics I have attached I just took 5 min ago of the same plant from previous photo as u can considerable more growth and color has turned more healthy green as u can also see on the bottom is some reminence of the past deficiency

Thanks this has been really informative. I will check the bottom to see if the roots are getting too much. But then this will be my 4th transplant on my bigger plants. The smaller plants are just not growing and they at least 2 months old now.

Some just grow faster then others my friend means it's healthy maybe try transferring into bigger pots to avoid having to do multiple transfers? I only transfer once for that reason.
