Is this plant dead or?

So its been extremely hot here in Arizona and one of my plants is crispy....is it dead? Do I chop it down and cure it? Because it's completely dried out... it's weird though because my other plant doesn't look that way....yet. advice?

Chop it and throw it out? Can it still be smoked? Do I cure it? Did I fail? Why is the other one still green..

I'd dry it and cure it. See if it's worth anything.

can still make hash out of it - perfectly fine.
the marocs do it that way, just let it dry on the field then beat the trichs off

I don't know...like I said, my other one still looks green. I know this crispy one was a bit further along, but nothing changed in how I treated either one, it's just been extremely hot so perhaps not enough water? But it doesn't make any sense to me because the other one looks okay...
