Hey guys is my plant fox tailing and is this a problem? My trichomes are not ready, i am holding out from cutting but a professional grower is telling me i am passed time and i need to cut it down even if the trichomes are glassy.

Using 15X magnification or better, check the trichomes. A jewel's loupe works well for this. The trichomes should be cloudy for maximum THC. The plant still has a lot of white pistils, and that makes me think it's not ready yet. There are usually more dark ones when it's ready. Personal preferences are involved, though.

Big question I planted in June, this plant is 100 days over flower. Should I just cut or follow standard trichome color. That is my big concern, first time grower

Let the trichomes be your guide. Flowering time isn't exact. Sometimes they need more time.

Did you have wpm though? I'm seeing like a baking soda foliar residue or wpm. *** If it does I'm not trying to make a statement about it, you seem to have it contained to the leaves which is like the best that outdoor can ask for in certain climates.. I just want to know to better understand your preventative plan, to compile and compare :D.*** I use a baking soda foliar that leaves similar residue and am just sorta wondering how far into flower you spray?

Looks like that's a genetic trait. Certain nutrients can cause tailing as well as unnatural amounts of heat. Looks outdoors and not suffering from too much heat. It looks like it's uniforming nicely.

To be honest I see that and I pick it off, but there isnt too much. I been spraying BT once a week, for the past couple weeks. Other than that I dont spray anything on them. This is my first year growing these plants so I am learning and understanding how the react. They are pretty much like my vegetable plants. I have only seen 1 catepillar, no eggs or aphids on either plant.

It was hot in So Cal, these guys made it through without any cover. I use bone meal, potash, worm castings, Dr earths fertilizer and an organic flower bloom booster from EB stone

That's good shit. You got your nutrients down! Also, it may sound funny but i call all my cannabis plants girls and especially before flower as well. Italk to them. The plants talk and listen. I have never had feminized seeds and have only had a few males my whole life. I noticed you called them guys and there's no problem with that at all. I just wanted to share some bro science that has seemed to help. Your plants look good! They are happy with you as their farmer and care taker.

Thanks bro, I appreciate the good words or encouragement. I used the same stuff and soil as my vegetable plants and its been good. These are from feminized seeds, I like the challenge of growing plants from seeds, its more interesting. I may try regular seeds to see male plants. A little more time on this board and will definitely get the girl thing down

Hey Dogg, that thing chunked up nice! Foxtailing will drive you batty trying to determine when to chop.

If you put a plant out too early before the Solstice or move it from 18 hours inside to outdoor natural light even in June it will trigger early flowering, and you're likely to encounter foxtails toward the end of your run. The flowering start date is indeterminate at this point because it had some degree of "bounce" back into veg that reset the clock on you. If you want to chop now you can just snip off the immature foxtails when you're trimming and make it part of your shake. But I don't think there's any harm giving it another week to 10 days either, eh?
