Hello THC community,
A lot of you have been very helpful in giving me great advices on my first year outdoor grow. Can many of you tell me is this plant pre-flowering or just new growth? It's only almost August and the daylight is still long. Can a plant go into flowering now? This is OG Kush strain. Please help me defined. Thank you all.

Yep you got it, that's a fine lady. I'm in southern AZ and my outdoor ladies have already begun to flower. Should start to see them shooting in the new growth soon.

Oh no... I don't want to flower yet. I want it to be bigger before flowering. Does the plant stop growing when it begin to flower?

Other plants are not showing like that one. Why is that the only one?

It is a preflower for sure. When it does start to fully flower, it will continue to grow a bit and stretch. What is the size of the plant in its entirety? You'll know when they are flowering. At the tips of the new growth you'll see white hairs starting to shoot out. Example below.

It's only 5 feet tall. But why all others are not showing any sign of pre-flowering? It's same strain and plant same day. I thought OG Kush harvest sometime in October. I am in Central California.

Only 5 feet :smug:. It can vary based on your geographic location. If they're not looking like mine you still got some veg time. Keep an eye on the others they may not be far behind.

Omg... I hoping to be at least 7 to 8 feet before flowering. I hope it stay veg a little longer so it could grow bigger. In central California here, we still have at least 13 hours of daylight. I am confused why it start to flower.

You can do supplemental lighting to kick on when the sun is going down. To my knowledge that's the only way to stretch your veg.

In all seriousness those are a solid size. You're going to have your hands full around harvest. You'll be taking branches off those things a couple times before they're bare. How many plants do you currently have? Looks like at least 12?
