But they are very nice because I can do my experiments on them and learn so much and not be sad I wasted like 5 months of my time on a plant that dies on me. Better they grow and die fast

It's only a timer to turn ON. Like if you're gonna be away and you need something turned on while you're away it'll turn it on...but it won't turn it off until after 24 hours I believe. This is what I've gathered from this contraption

Added 3/4 inch of feed to the little one.....nothing growing in that one yet......the feed line might have been too low? I think because of the smaller container, it's drying up that much quicker.....in normal medium, that is always the case......kinda makes sense.....
