I'll chuck all me autos in here if anyone's interested. Always got a few going year round. First up we have some Jet Fuel Mandarin XL autos from Sweet Seeds. Cross of High Country Diesel/aspen OG and cream mandarin/Apricot Glue autos. Bit sceptical of the XL tag as they reckon these are only 9 weeks from germ to harvest. Don't know how "XL" something can get in that timeframe but they were freebies so what the hell.

Day 7

Day 15

In 5.5" pots of potting mix from the local landscaping joint mixed with a bit of peat moss and perlite. Fed 50/50 rainwater/tap water as our tap water has been super alkaline but ends up being neutral when cut.

Will be popping a few reg autos in the next week or two as well. Have some Golden Triangle (Myanmar, Laos and Thai) X Mango stick auto (RSC Mango Thai X Laughing Hyena Lil Stick auto) here that I'm keen on chucking with.

A mango smile X lil stick auto that's been neglected over at me mums joint. 27 days from pop, lived its life under a few 11w led globes so far (44w). Moved outside yesterday as she has visitors for a bit.

Little 300x200mm squat pot for reference. Definitely a bit of a runt, and definitely on me haha. Could have brought it home a few weeks ago and threw it in the tent.

Hey you're keeping it alive and we've seen a lot worse. Leaves looking healthy and more light would help but you know that

Just feel bad when someone swings me testers and I don't give it the best life. Not the best representation for the poor chucker lol.

Its even worse, there's a 120w quantum board in the same closet the tent is in. Once a plant is out of site and not at mine it's too easy to let it slide.

How do you guys do your butter? I do the old school ghetto double boiler with pot and glass bowl. Butter settles around 70c with this method. Usually go 2.5hrs.

I infuse until solids separate from the butter and it clears up, skim the solids from the top, pour through a fine sieve into a jar to remove most of the plant material and then let it sit for 15mins where the residual fine particulate settles to the bottom. I then pour the clear butter into another container minus the settlement. Lose a negligible amount to skimming and settlement.

What's everyone consensus on infusion time, flower amount and method? Just did 350g butter with 35g primo flower from some sweet Thai X mango but someone said that's a crazy amount of flower lol.

Tonight's haul. During infusion, liquid and set.

Such a nice shade of green

Ended up potting them up as I'll be away for a few days over Xmas. Little pots were drying out too fast for my liking. Topped the vigorous one, will leave the real squat one untopped.

Threw in some golden stick reg autos from laughing hyena. Golden triangle (Laos/Myanmar/Thai landrace X mango stick auto). Will make some more regs from this run and some fems from a future run.

Have a bunch of old haze chucks that flower for 14-16 weeks. Might be able to use the pollen off these to make some faster flower haze regs if they enough Asia in em.

Four weeks down. Ones super stout. No stretch yet. The other has started to stretch the last few days.

According to the description I only have 5 weeks until these are supposed to finish which is hilarious. The description clearly has "XL", "Compact plant", "high yield" and "9 weeks from germination" which all contradict each other. No idea what I'm actually in for now based on the slow start.

Cheers mate. Do you find any benefit of sealed decarb? I just wrap mine in foil lightly.

Be it right or wrong I decarb in a mason jar then open outside. That takes care of a lot of smell from the process.

Way too much slow release in these bags of medium compared to the last.

The 25L bag was cut with 7.5L peat moss and 5L perlite and there's still an absolute shit ton of them.

Its basically a water only medium for $10 from the local landscaping joint. First few bags were a1, the last two bags were absolutely loaded with osmotic prills in comparison.

Normally mix my own living soils but I've been a bit lazy lately and the parameters are wild lol.

Tbh I reckon the medium would be ace without the prills full stop. There's enough in there to keep a short cycle plant fed anyways.

Only thing I add to the water is mykos and bacillus innoculants (root roids and fruit roids every 10 days come flower)
