What would be great is polyethylene tubing with holes already in it similar to a Halo Drip Ring.
Been looking for manufactures that make polyethylene tubing for John Guest / LIQUIFit style fittings with Halo style irrigation rings holes. DIY Halo Ring
Most I've found have been 6" on center for outdoor drip irrigation.

Hey D..are those John Guest compression fittings? I've been shopping researching Halo's..the more I read about them and soaker line 6-12 inch spacing..the more I hear they clog and are meant for pressure regulating. A couple things I've been thinking were to use the inline drip emitters...run the 6" spaced soaker line with several loops...or just by a deluxe punch tool and make my own. Love this site...scroll down this page has all 3 tools for my ideas. http://www.irrigationdirect.com/tut...n-basics-and-installation/expert-advice/id/12

I'm going to look harder this week if I can find the people that make polyethylene tubing with the holes.
Need a high pressure pump for this app.
I'm skeptical about the Halo Rings your talking about as well.
I wouldn't use soaker hose or the lines with the 6" spacing cuz your going to have to wrap it around the stalk multiple times and probably wind up clogging anyway.
Compression fittings you can remove to put around the stalk and whatever diameter you prefer.

been doing double over night shifts this wk end and gardening in between so I'm seeing cross eyed atm
..but what's been churning in my head lately is a fast soaking ring.. more like a shower than a drip. So what about some rigid material like pvc..make a square..alternate the holes on bottom half to really get a good soak going. We could use a pipe cleaner to polish the burs out..might not even need to glue (that would be helpful. Or glue them and make a square but cap it so you have a 2-3" gap to go around the stalk. Gotta be cheaper than those halos at 10 bux a pop. Only how to feed it and regulate it?

With that I'd probably just drill 3/16 - 1/4 inch holes depending on the pot size into pvc and top feed using an active aqua or the like pump.
I'd like more of a uniform spray around the whole stalk. Filter bag and clean nutes with no salt build up.

He's probably busy flipping someone off. lol:finger:

lol

yeah i have been busy wiht life and have not checked in....i flipped 2 weeks ago...with an overgrown room again...its a bad habit i got..i need either a new cam wire or a sd-usb adapter to post up some new pics...maybe next week ;)
