Hello everyone.
Greetings from Ontario Canada.
This will be the second crack at the beans in this setup.
We will once again go from seeds to mothers to clones to flowers.
I have just started flowering the 3 moms from the first session. (2) Bruce Banner 2.0 & (1) The New. I’m doing those in my first scrog.
The clones I did from these three are in their last few days of veg. I will be flipping those very soon. They should be done by the time this second batch has grown enough to take cuttings. I keep track of all that in my first diary called JUMPING RIGHT IN! BRAND NEW SET UP.
This time it will be 2 moms. (1) Sapphire Scout & (1) Amherst Sour Diesel. Both from Humboldt.
It won’t be long until we are cutting more clones for the Turbokloner.

I’ll be using Gaia Green Living Soil Blend. Only the mothers will be in soil. The clones will be started in an aeroponic cloner and finished in Rockwool on an ebb & flow table.

It’s Friday!
Amherst Sour D is the first to sprout! I didn’t see this in the morning when I left for work.
The Sapphire Scout is not showing yet. Patience.

Check this out!
The Sapphire Scout is now also up. I couldn’t see it at all yesterday and now it’s catching up to Amherst.
Humboldt has the best genetics out there. I’m so confident in these beans that I can just sprout them one at a time. There’s no need to crack a few in case one doesn’t. Unless they damp off, which would probably be my fault. The seeds are also feminized so I’m 99% sure it’s a girl.

The Amherst SD has white dots on the cotyledons. I’ve not seen this before. It is still growing straight and is showing its first new leaves.
I have them under a Root Farm LED propagation light that is at least 30” above. I don’t think it’s bleaching. Just have to keep an eye on it today.

The pics make the soil look very wet but it’s really not. I haven’t watered since the original soil prep.

These two have grown almost an inch today.
I think the white spots are getting smaller as it grows. I think.

They looked like they started stretching so I lowered the light to about 14” above.

I have a few fungus gnats in my mother tent. I have since the beginning but I can keep them under control with sticky traps and letting the soil dry substantially between waterings. These two are in a different area and I’m using the trap as a precaution.

Thursday night. 72 hrs since the last pic. Growing well.
The Sapphire Scout is growing very bent. Going to have to support it to grow straight.

The S.S. has straightened up. I moved the cups slightly closer to the wall yesterday so they could collect reflected light. I don’t know if that’s what did it but ok. It was growing in circular swings. Searching for light? It’s right there!
I think I will water them tomorrow. I haven’t given them any since the replant.

Coming along. Definitely not stretching.
Gave them some root enhancer and a little B1. Don’t think they liked it. The leaves are twisted in the middle like they’re giving me the finger.
Sorry girls.
