I'm running VPD in my 4x4, I try to keep it at 1.0 during the day to better control humidity... right around 68% daytime. If I try and run .08 I get up to around 74%. 3 6 inch fans, 2 oscillating. Also a 4 inch duct fan (switching to 6 inch in a few days when it shows up). Running the ac infinity t3 humidifier on the 69 pro controller, controller also runs 1 fan and the duct fan... lights are on a separate timer (spider farmer sf4500 ) Using EB Stone soil (next round I'll make my own) . Nutrients will be from Humboldts secret

Clones are GMO and 1 Pineapple Muffin taken from my outdoor. Started Sour D and Do Si Do from seed, made some changes the last 2 days in light intensity and they're recovering.

The speedbumps are likely an indication that you're watering too often. In soil, I water to runoff only when the pots are very light. Watering too often in soil drowns the root hairs, and messes with nutrient uptake. Some of your other symptoms might be related. Also, that looks like a lot of light for plants that young. Those would still be under a single 25W T5 in my garden. Hope that helps.

I'm hoping it's the picture making it look like too much light. It's down at 10% since yesterday. I agree with you also about overwatering, letting them dry out a bit. I'll post pics of recovery

Hello Steve. You have a pretty nice setup there.
Lets see if I can help you grow some real nice plants Take a good look at your plants.

As you have already selected hydroponic nutrients.
Do you have.
EC Pen
A pen that counts ppm
P.H meter
P.H up
P.H down
10 ml syringes.

I have been quietly messing with coco for a while. Watching this and a couple of other forums. The # 1 problem I see time and time again is guys using coco that is pre-washed and buffered. 90% of there problems stem from magnesium deficiency. Due to poorly washed and buffered coco.
The other 10% are over feeding or over watering. Not flushing every couple of weeks
Buy just plane coco.
Perlite.
Take your time.
Wash your coco at least twice. After first wash put it in a bucket, fill with water and mix very well buy hand.
Then wash it again. Then back into the first bucket or bag so you can buffer it.
Buffer your coco twice no short cuts. I know what I'm asking. It's a lot of messing around but it will pay off, in the end you will know that your coco has been washed and buffered correctly. And if you use your cal mag as directed you will not have any magnesium problems.

I found a video on Humbold nutrients. Should help you get growing.

When your seedlings break ground.
Place a highball glass upside down over the seedling. It's best to put a couple of pencil under the glass on each side so the glass sits 1/4" above the coco. I place a playing card on top of the glass to shade my seedling. I put a little weight on the card to hold it in place for a few days until the seedling has established some roots. Seedlings are fragile and burn easy. Do everything you can to help them along. Coco holds water very well you don't need to water 4 times a day. Read all you can about growing in coco in the mean time.

Try this next time around.

In simple terms.... light is too bright either turn down power or raise light... either over or underwatering... frequency not volume
