Humidity is 52% air flow is good I have a fan aiming down onto the plants, I'm growing in a grow shed so it gets plenty of fresh air.Looks like Botrytis or bud rot. How is your humidity and airflow in your grow area?
A bud wash? Is that spraying the plant down with water? Sorry for the dumb question I'm still a beginner.Bud rot mixed with white powdery mildew.... I would chop and do a bud wash to save the plant

I know I'm wondering what the hell happened and how mold grew on the bud when everything is pretty perfect environment, I'll definitely be bud washing them as it's not just me smoking it also my girlfriend so I gotta be 100% it's all good to smoke.Dam, your humidity is good too. I wouldnt think this would happen at 52%. This sucks to see. Good Eye, it can be hard to tell if its mold or tricomes if the buds are super frosty.

100% it's not worth the risk smoking moldy buds I hear that can mess your lungs up for good and I enjoy smoking way to much to risk not smoking anymore lol, if the plant has anymore mold or something looks bad on it before harvest I'll just throw away the whole plant I still got a cheese XL and a gorilla cookies that should be done in a couple of weeks at the moment there is no sign of mold or PW on either of those plants and I can't find anymore mold on the magnum apart from that one bud last night, It hurt putting that bud in the bin, next grow I'm doing a pink lemonade and a wedding cheesecake.I have some northern lights that after a long cure (8 months) is still a bit moist in the grinder. There is also a slight musty earthy smell, but with a loupe it very hard to see if there is mold. I'm pretty sure I can see a little bit of Fuzz, similar to what you have but it is so similar to tricomes that its hard to tell.
Thats my biggest complaint about this hobby, very dangerous things are VERY hard to see ! (Mites, Root Aphids, Mold, etc..)
In your case, there is no question that you have mold.(and thats what you CAN see) I know your looking forward to smoking, but I'm not sure its worth the risk. Read up on what mold can do to you---I've heard quite a few people that needed surgery to remove mold from their lungs, its not something you want to go through...
If the mold is isolated to one place, you may be ok but I'd be very careful. Weed is cheap these days anyway, if a grow goes bad you can always go back to the dispensery.
any bugs? bug poo or caterpillar poo can cause shit to grow, no pun intended..I know I'm wondering what the hell happened
Toss any buds with the mould in it harvest the rest....TOSS ANY BUDS WITH MOULD IN IT!!!!!!!! REPEAT AFTER ME. TOSS ALL BUDS WITH MOULD in it and salvage what you canI know I'm wondering what the hell happened and how mold grew on the bud when everything is pretty perfect environment, I'll definitely be bud washing them as it's not just me smoking it also my girlfriend so I gotta be 100% it's all good to smoke.
Don't worry I will, I threw the bud I found mold on away literally cut the whole bud off hopefully that will stop it completely and I'll be bud washing washing the plant just to make sure it's completely clean before drying, curing then smokingToss any buds with the mould in it harvest the rest....TOSS ANY BUDS WITH MOULD IN IT!!!!!!!! be very vigilant, once the spores are there they can grow anywhere they land if conditions allow itDon't worry I will, I threw the bud I found mold on away literally cut the whole bud off hopefully that will stop it completely and I'll be bud washing washing the plant just to make sure it's completely clean before drying, curing then smoking
A few gnats but nothing living on the plants themselves, the only thing I can think of it's got to be that bud was at the back of the plant so maybe it didn't get enough air movement around it which caused the mold but the fan leaves at the back of the plant are moving with the fan moving the air around, it could be like you said something took a shit in my weed and caused it to screw up that budany bugs? bug poo or caterpillar poo can cause shit to grow, no pun intended..
I'll be extra vigilant from now one, I'll be checking plants 2 - 3 times aday, if anymore mold grows from now until harvest I'll just get rid of the plant and get my pink lemonade goingbe very vigilant, once the spores are there they can grow anywhere they land if conditions allow it
you may want to check rh and temp from multiple places and multiple times a day within the shed. you can create micro-climates real quick in an enclosed environment that can lead to this and other issues
You need max and min RH and Temp readings during nights, nasty spikes at night is a very common thing If you don't have a proper dehumidifier for the room size and number of plants/amount of water used per day/week. (Transpiration from leaves and evaporation from soil)I've ordered 2 more thermometers to hang around the grow shed, I'll put 1 behind the plants and hang another one the other side of the plants so it's all covered
