Sup farmers! Just over here listening to some tunes and thought I'd start a chronology thread of my grows.
If I start seedlings or clones in my nursery tent I leave those pictures out and just focus on the veg/flower time in the 4x4 only. Pictures are taken roughly a week apart.

I'll keep uploading cycles until I run out. Then I'll aim to update this every time I complete a cycle in the 4x4 tent. Hope you enjoy it.

First one up.

Didn't really get the yield I wanted as I flipped them way to early. I didn't know what to expect from the stretch but I learned heavy indica/purple strains don't stretch very much. On the upside the smoke and quality were great by my standards.

Man that purple is art work in it self , plus if got a clone from the pheno's you can re-rerun the strain and see if a longer veg cycle or other things make all the difference I think . The plants looked great

( indica's can take 30%-50% longer on a lot them & in flower: only 1x stretch compared to 2-3x its size like a sativa plant )

Does it smell or taste grapey ? ( god I love grape strains :) )

Subscribed ! I really like how your showing your weekly pics and grow logs , that's def awesome and you should keep it up

Right on man! That was a past grow so unfortunately I don't have the cut anymore but I reckon the veg could have been longer like you said.

That smoke was super grapey. I loved it!

I concur, as a newbie to indoor, I enjoyed looking at your strains and comparing mine at the same grow point. Thanks for posting, and what I believe Burned Haze was so politely saying is, those early Indica grows could of used another week to max out the yield. I'll also have to restrain myself from harvesting too early, these first few grows, I'm certain. Best of Luck!

Thanks! I don't mind. Sometimes I top them once but most of the time I bend them to manipulate the canopy if necessary. It's all about an even canopy to me.

I want to run her again some day with a longer veg cuz she grows slow and barely even stretches at all during flower. The smoke was so nice man I miss it!

On that particular run I got about 17oz off a 600w hps and that space is 4x4. My tent walls suck in a bit from the exhaust fan so it should be noted it's not truly at 4x4 specs when running.

My largest yield in that space was 19oz and I believe some of the smaller runs I've done in it were around 10oz like that grape ape above.

It really depends on the strain I can't stress that enough, but with good training techniques and an adequate use of canopy space I typically expect to get somewhere in the ballpark of a 13-16oz. I'd wager there are others who are yielding close to the 1g per watt mark, but I've only come close to that one time with that Durban Poison grow. Next cycle I'm going to try to get my canopy management down and hopefully break my current record. The run I'm doing right now doesn't have the canopy I'm looking for. I waited too long to flip.

I have not seen vast differences in yield with coco, but I have been able to use much less coco than I would soil. I believe that true yield differences come more with canopy management and strain once everything else is dialed in. If I were to do a side by side of 1gal of coco vs 1gal of soil I could probably yield more, but that's just an assumption. I'll say this I could not have kept my solo cup plants as happy as I did in coco if I had them in soil. So basically it allows me to use smaller containers and still achieve good results.
