Check out my Instagram @AutoflowerakHave any pics of a grow really interesting the knf stuff don't see it alot
I’m curious, what input you made that smelled like baby poo? Because I personally make every input and not a single one smells bad. KNF fermentation’s are done with osmotic pressure through sugar and it isn’t an anaerobic process therefore no smell. Even with my fermented fish. So I’m pretty sure you might have been doing something incorrectly or maybe you were doing some Jadam inputs which actually use anaerobic fermentations and can have terrible smells.I did KNF for quite a while. The smell of baby diapers from the ferments made me quit. Chris Trump is also a GigaChad. lol.
If you are on a budget or the DIY type, KNF works great. The yields won't be guaranteed, but it will smell and taste loud.
Alright, that makes sense. FPE isn’t KNF. It’s definitely a natural farming input but not KNF. In KNF the equivalent of an FPE is an FPJ, except there is no water only sugar and plant material. When you add water it makes it an anaerobic ferment and it’s going to smell. And yes, we grow lots of comfrey and I make it into an FPJ, which has no smell or a classic comfrey tea (aka FPE or JLF) which stinks like shit. One thing I’ve noticed about comfrey FPJ is it’s starts to turn alcoholic smelling after 6 months in the fridge when I normally get a year out of other stuff. It was mostly FPE's. Ever done comfrey? Pewzus.
You are definitely on the right path. Anything you ferment will unlock all those nutrients into a plant available form and also lock all those microbes on the surface into a dormant state until added to water.Have you experimented with anything that grows locally around you that might not be a traditional thing to ferment? For example I have an abundance of okra it grows like a weed down here in Oklahoma. So, I made a Okra FPJ out of it, should I assume since okra has about 300 mg of Potassium per 100 grams that its most likely a provider of potassium? It also contains some magnesium calcium and a small amount of iron! Maybe its time to bust out the ole micro biology book and do some reading.
Fantastic buddy, thank you for sharing. That’s a great resource.I got a chart don't remember where I screenshoot it
