Thank you!.... Yes... cali connection. Have to admit tho I didnt pop the beanz... got this clone from a buddy who did an expansive pheno hunt. I have a different Larry pheno that I havent flowered yet... she is comin this summer.

hmm, ok. yeah i've been contemplating their larry, tahoe or buddha tahoe, but there's been too much shit with them. it's either hermies or multiple packs to find something worth keeping. i did try their chemvalley kush and it was some a+ smoke, but i could of just got lucky. i picked up some of their sour diesel and if all works out i will try one of the 3 i mentioned.
when you get the chance to flower that other girl out throw some pics up and let us know how she smokes.

Got some buddies with alot of cali connection gear... found some good phenos (spent alot of money to do so tho). Got a buddy runnin some Tahoe that is off the chain! Same guy also runnin the CVK and its fiyah as well!! Its a hit and miss game man... the game of poppin gear.

I will for sure get some pix up when I start that other girl in flower. Should be a good show.

how many beans did he pop to find that special pheno of Tahoe? also how does she yield?

Nice Larry bro I'm working with a beautiful pheno found from 1 pack of 6 fems. The other seedlings died when the heat system in my house shit the bed for a few days in November and they endured below 50 temps, as well as a couple corleone seedlings. One Larry made it and was VIGOROUS. I grew it in veg under only one 3 foot t5, topped and supper cropped into a bush using only that 1 puny light. 30 days into flower right now under a 1k HPS, resin production has been amazing and I cant wait till the finish.(Smell is very hard to describe right now)

I know in the past Cali Connection has done some people wrong but their gear today(imo) is better quality and there are quite a few people who can vouch for finding some very bomb pheno types from their seeds. When my plant finishes Ill post some pics.
Catdaddy the good pheno types of Tahoe arent amazing yielders, trained a bit it could produce some weight but tahoe is about quality.

looks pretty sold lucky. have you ever got a chance to smoke the original larry cut to compare your buddies seed finding to? just curious how close to the actual cut it is or if there is a decent amount of SFV or afghan in it. good job on the grow brotha ~SMF~

Ya know... not sure... but I know it was more than one pack. Cali Connection nowadays is on their shit! Lot more ppl finding good phenos outta their newer gear. Marski420 is right on the Tahoe tho.. it isnt a great yeilding strain... its is more of a connosuier strain. AWESOME quality if you can find that special lady.

Thanks bud! 'preciate that! Ya know it is pretty close to the original I think. Kind of a lemony peppery/funk earthy flavor. Typical OG notes for sure. Now that ya mention it... might be a little afghan in it. Its still curing up... Ill have a better report here in a couple weeks.

nice. how does the larry yield? is this one just mainly quality as the tahoe? which one do you guys think is the better of the 2? thanks in advance.

From what Swerve has told me the Larry yields a bit better but the tahoe is a bit stronger. Its all preference catdaddy.

Well done Lucky.

The biggest diff b/w the two IMHO is that the Tahoe is more piney - just like Pinesol floor cleaner, and the Larry more lemon/funk flavored. Some days I dig the funk (old man breath) but most days Pinesol is my favorite flavor. AFAIK Swirl is still breeding w/ that crappy male that seems to be tied to all the problems - SFV bx3 I think. I wouldn't buy anything that uses that male. If you want reliable OG from seed try Ghost OG S1's from Dr. Greenthumb.

if i am not mistaken, i think he is using the reverse pollen of the tahoe to most of his strains now. but from your post and many others people lean more towards the tahoe than the larry but never really go into details why? i just always thought the tahoe was more popular and people was just following the trend. not my thread but thanks to you and others for you'll post.

no disrespect to your recommendation or dgt, but i am starting to see more disapproving threads in regards to him, his prices and seeds. for the prices he charges people for very small amount of seeds you would think that there would be nothing but good reports coming from his customers, so he is definitely not an option.

Thanks Fader! You are DEAD on on the smell/flavors of the two. In my experience having friends that have grown the Tahoe it is a little less of a yeilder than the Larry, but considered a "better" smoke. It all depends on your palette and what ur wanting to smoke that day. You cant go wrong with either one IMO. Both are DANK!
