This is a 10 week super lemon haze started from seed at the end of 10 weeks. Last feeding was about 2 weeks ago with EJ catalyst, molasses and 1 tbl of bud swell; from then on just the catalyst and molasses. Started putting out new growth after the last feeding. Since the trichomes are begining to amber and most of the pistels are brown I want to harvest now. I just hope I'm not beyond the harvest window. Comments please.

They do this. What about the other metrics by which to tell how far along or done she is? I have a thread on that!

I think I will give them another week maybe wait until the new pistils darken a bit. I looked at the Greenhouse Seeds video again they are talking 11 maybe 12 weeks although the video harvest time was more like 9 weeks.

i've had plants do this. i think you're better off harvesting now that waiting, or the older parts of the bud will age while you're waiting for the new growth to finish.

From my experience, sativas or sativa mixes seem to do this more than indicas. Some people call it "foxtailing." I've had several plants do this - when they do, the buds seem to stretch a bit and get a little airy, which isn't a bad thing on extended flowering (helps to reduce the chances of bud rot & other mold/fungal problems).

When to harvest is a personal choice. I like to harvest earlier rather than later because I don't like couch-lock.
