Whats up family
I had an account with thcfarmer about 7 phones ago, so i had to make a new one. Most people call me fuzzy; from south east michigan, i started growing around 2019/2020. Started in a 9x5 tent with 2 of hlgs 550V2s and crushed my first harvest of 2 plants (lol) blue sherbet cookie (which I am still looking for a cut today, I didn’t know any better and didn’t clone the 2 plants a friend gave me who’s been deep in genetic game for a long time) and a gelato 33 X jelly breath cross which again I am still looking for.
I ended up pulling a little over a lb per plant and thought I was a mf grown master after.
Ran 2 more cycles
2nd cycle was again from a guy deep in genetics who was old school and gifted me 10 cuts of road kill skunk
3rd was 8 plants of a great pheno of gg4.
This was in late 2019 when prices were high and out of towners were plentiful, to say the least I started seeing the kind of money this brought in and quit my day job and went balls deep into the cannabis market.
Shortly after that I partnered up with a buddy who had a giant basement filled with equipment and some crazy rare genetics he had brought back from California. He had no fuckin clue what he was doing, and although I had 3 successful runs in a 9x5 tent I quickly learned how much work, money, time, patients, and knowledge goes into a bigger scale grow. Buddy I partnered with was a club owner in downtown Detroit and was a really really busy guy. He supplied all the nutrients, all the equipment, spot, everything. He just needed a second person to take care of the day to day shit. He ended up linking me up with this dude who was a mad scientist growing out of a enormous commercial facility downtown, I spent months going there every day for hours filling note books out as he taught me the science, and business side of the mmj industry. Dude was running probably 2000 plants in 10 giant rooms, some led, some hps (quality high wattage LEDs were just entering the market) dude ran probably 20 different genetics all exotic strains I’ve never heard of but they were all some of the best bud I’d ever seen. I learned alot from him, and will always be grateful for that.
Anyways, finished the cycle I was helping my boy out with, made some serious cheese, and built my first room. Than before I knew it I was operating 6 diff full cycle rooms by finding retired/money hungry guys, having them put up the money for the grow room in their home or business, and I took care of everything start to finish for a 50% cut of every room. This was 2020 and I was killing it off my own product.
2021 comes and flu happens. I had just came down with one of my best harvests to date, weight and quality were both 100% on point. Government started giving all this money away to ppl so I was able to break down the 30 units I had just came down with, and collected flu money. I was really killing it.
Mid 2021 prices fall from 1400 to like 900-1200 and at that point I was busting my ass taking care of these rooms, I had built a pretty giant network and knew alot of growers on scales way bigger than mine, but they didn’t have the clientele to get rid of it. So I made the decision to shut down all rooms, and start brokering
Best financial decision I had ever made, I was putting a ton of cash into these guys pockets, making my the clientele happier than ever, and now I wasn’t busting my ass with all these rooms, It was literally the American dream.
Mid 2023- prices took another dive because the market was being saturated with so much bullshit bud most of my sources jumped out the game. That was the end of that amazing year, and I found myself paying a ton of bills, and watching my money dwindle.
Fast forward to today, I’m doing alright. I opened my main room back up, I’m in week 4(day 22) of flower and my plants are looking fkn amazing. I had a bunch of left over nutrients from back when they weren’t double the price they are now so here’s my feed regiment
Growing in 10 gal pots, coco, hand feeding through an irrigation system. Only 10 plants but I let them get enormous. I’m also running a few different genetics in there which i absolutely hate fkn doing but i had lost mine and a buddy gave me 3 of each
Purple cherry poppers
Fritter glitter
Pure Michigan
Here’s my flower feed
Power si bloom 1ml/gal ever other feed
Drip calmag 1ml/gal
Canna coco a&b
cut rhizotonic after week 2
Half dose of cannazyme (every other feed)
Canna boost half dose (every feed)
Honey chome 5ml/gal (every other feed)
Power si lush .5ml/gal (every other feed)
Mammoth p .5ml/gal (every other feed)
I’m gonna be introducing canna’s pk 13/14 starting week 5 at half dose
And I’m gonna be introducing liquid weight every other feed in place of honey chome.
I’m super open to any questions, tips, anything you guys can think of.
