Feeling like I want to update. Day 42 on the big girl need to get me a better camera this phone doesn't do enough justice. Plus its so hard to get the whole thing in one picture.

Shot of the fullest cola.

The poor little Strawberry Blue gets the cast off light ow its get even more shadow as I moved my tower fan on top of the net. But its just a test bud anyway

Then there's the small cuts needing some love getting a little yellow. But they will bounce out I have faith.

Rooting some more cuts. To get another farmer up and going. Sharing the knowledge I've acquired.

And a final shot of the 5 veggin it up til the room opens up. The Strawberry Blue on the left I like her structure. Hope the stretch doesn't go crazy on her like Juggs did. The other 4 are my other Jugg cuts 2 I'm letting just go no training. I got 1 I'm bending up to maybe do a mini Scrog and the other is going to be a mom for the next couple runs.

Why not update today, getting ever so close to harvest. I can at least say from my first real hydro grow I'm happy with my results. I know she could have probably produced more for the effort I have put in. But all in all feeling accomplished.

Day 49

The cuts have started to green up, still cant get a handle on these damn WW x BB cuts. Might just scrap them who knows. Yeti's are looking better though probably transplant the bigger ones to the 2.5 gal hempy's

Then there's this test bud of Strawberry Blue. For not geting much light she is still trying no stress signs that I've noticed although I feel bad she is in such a small cup. Just did't have room when i first said screw it and through her in just to have a preview of after this harvest.

And I'll leave off with a shot of the above's mother so to speak. Loving the structure that came out of this one.

So I was sitting under my plant yesterday (love the fact that I can do that). And I just got to thinking and wanted to reflect. When I first started this grow, I had done a lot of research I read everything about everything. I had a main focus on hydroponics I wanted to do a hydro run and see how it treated me. Stumbling upon Hygrohybrid and watching his videos, I was truly inspired. His attitude on growing, his results, The lack of product pushing like most vids and stuff out there, I was hooked. I felt like I had to give dwc a go and see if it was really possible. The idea of getting 2 lbs+ from 1 plant with a 600w. I had to try. Where I know I don't have near the skill he does or dialed in environment, or even the 600w (due to heat issues I've been running 75% 450w)

But I never thought I'd have trouble getting a picture of just one plant but I can't get it all in one shot.

Even tried to shoot from the corner with the cord hanging

Shots like these make me hopeful for a possible pound

Overall I don't care about the final weigh in anymore. I'm just happy I was able to train such a monster.

@DismalDude Honestly after watching some Hygrohybrid the DWC just sounded so easy and appealing. I will say though that hindsight being 20/20 that a recirculating system is the way to go, Any system with a control resevoir would be the way to go. If you start running multiple buckets the upkeep gets away from chill and easy to "Fuck its res day again :inpain:" But the growth rate and the root porn you can take away is an awesome feeling.

@just.blaze Yea tbh I thought making my 42'x42' scrog was going to be over kill but it almost wasn't enough. Appreciate it and you checking things out, since the manner I receieved the cut I'm not 100% the origins I was told it was a Blue Cheese, so looking into that they say 8-10 weeks. I was hoping for just the 8 which is ending in 4 days, but I'm thinking it'll probably be more like 11 to 12 days. Hopefully not to much longer.

Been going through some stuff and a lot of realization. In short it was fun here at the farm. Appreciate all those that took time to check out my adventure. But I'm not feeling the grow right now. So after my final harvest posts I'm bowing out.

Limited room and to much to hang lol.

K worked from like 11:45 to 7 and was tired so I've got the two best colas and all the lower buds.

Still some more hours of work to do today.

Sorry to hear that FRSHgost.I came here because of an experience I had on another site when I started growing Green Crack.People jumped all over me for using the name of the plant which I didn't even know it had other names... I had been on the site since 08 and though my friends had left I stayed.It wasn't long after the GC incident that I left.I tried many,many other sites but the farm has been my best experience out of the lot.Hope you hang around man but if not I wish you the best!
