Was wondering if anybody could help me out identify the issue that’s going on with my plants. So they first seem to start getting purple and then after they’re done getting purple, they get yellow and curl and dry up. I just started week four and this started a week and a half ago the only thing I’ve done different this time around was spray lost coast plant therapy. Could that have caused this?View attachment 2355789

Dem girls really hungry for every mineral under the sun.. usually phosphorus deficiency means you need to feed your plants.

Hello,

My first thought is it looks like you're dealing with a nitrogen deficiency, which is pretty common during the flowering stage. A lot of people cut back on nitrogen to focus on phosphorus and potassium, but if it's reduced too much or too early, the plant can start pulling nitrogen from the older leaves, causing them to yellow.

Notice how the new growth looks healthy while the older growth is dying off? Think of it like your body needing protein, if you don’t consume enough, it starts breaking down your muscles for protein. The plant is doing something similar, prioritizing its energy for the flowers and shedding leaves it no longer needs as a resource.

Hope that makes sense and helps. Good luck!

I was slowly dialing up the light after both hit 75% could that be the cause if yes why did the other strains not get affected

Now that picture looks like a phosphorus deficiency based on the purple stems, rust-colored spots, and yellowing leaves. It can happen in veg too, especially if the plant is gearing up for flower or struggling with nutrient uptake. Check your pH since phosphorus gets locked out if it's off (aim for 6.2-6.8 in soil). If temps have been cold, that could also restrict phosphorus absorption.

I'd suggest adjusting your feed with a bit more phosphorus, either a balanced nutrient mix or a mild PK booster if you're planning to flip soon. The plant might be showing signs it's ready for flower, so you could consider switching if you're happy with the size and structure. Catching this now should help it bounce back before buds start forming.

Good luck!

It does make sense.. if you feeding is the same.. but your watering amount is increasing as I am sure it is... then your plants photosynthesis is increasing so it requires more nutes.. if this time is different than before just means you grew your girls better this time around and she wants more food... to confirm check your runoff ppm

Increasing light increasing nute draw amount.. don't complicate it... just increasing feeding by the same percentage you increased your lights by

Please explain the "I don't have to pH" thing please. I am interested in hearing it.

Did you now up it or you up it before... also do you do a runoff flush when you watering? Or just top up watering?
