Leaves dying and small buds

Hi there,

I am on week 8 of flower (White Widow) and my leaves are dying and the buds are small. Does anyone have any recommendations? Im not watering too much because the bottom has stayed wet, I don't want root rot. But my buds just don't appear to be bulking up and the leaves are dying off. Leaves were all super green and healthy during veg, not sure what happened. Any ideas are appreciated!

Being at week 8 just give the plant PH water and flush it. Adding nutrients at that point is not going to do much. There is some sort of an issue with uptake of nutrients. They look like they were overfeed at some point and maybe you backed the nutrients too far off. I would suggest to feed the plants at about 50 percent of what the nutrient companies feed schedule calls for in the future.

Well they are on the small side. IMO that was probably caused by 2 things.
#1. The stress the plant went thru with the leaves being burn form too high of PPM's
#2. I believe they could have used more light. Light IMO is what drives the plant meaning if they are in a good environment and have all the nutrients they want the light is what drives growth. More light = more plant matter in my opinion.

what do you mean by 8 weeks? when did you switch?

I am having similar issues. Plants are in 6th week of an 8week bloom. This is a strain I have grown several times with great results, but this time the buds are just small. Temps day 71, night 68. RH 42%. Feeding Jack’s Finnisher. Growing in coco feed to waste. Second photo is different strain. Also 6 weeks old but requires a 10 week bloom. Any suggestions?

Could this be the Hop Latent Virus? Looking good in veg, then in to Bloom the leaves start yellowing and dying. Smallish plants and duded buds are another symptom.

I grew white widow from ILGM seeds, feminized photoperiod, had similar occurrence, grew healthy first 4weeks then yellowing . I upped the feeding , greened up a bit, cut to 12 hours, by week 2 buds grew but small, with big time yellowing, I defoliated a bunch.
At week 7 of flower ready to harvest small. Some good resin on buds at least, just small stuff.
Time for something bigger n better!

What are you growing in? Temps..? Do you have gnats?

Growing in ocean forest, 2 gal fabric pots, Mars 600 LED, and a viaspectra 1500 LED hanging 20"above all, spring water @ 68°, temps 79 day 70 night ..this week it got down to 62 at night ,winter finally arrived and the room with my 2x4 by 5 tent got chilly, so that may have accelerated the yellowing some.
Thankfully no gnats or bugs!

Thankfully no gnats or bugs!

You want to swing temps by less than 5 degrees between night and day if possible..otherwise humidity and condensate can be an issue...also less stressful for plants!
