I've done this too when I make a mistake, but that's not how it is supposed to work. If you do defoliate later in the plant's life for reasons, you should still be cutting off viable green leaves. If not, you are doing something wrong.I'd just prune the yellow ones and see if it progresses up the plant. It's not unusual for the first leaves to turn.
If yellowing keeps up, it looks like it wants nitrogen. Good luck, and keep us posted.

MOBILE NUTRIENTS
Nutrients that the plant can move around are called mobile nutrients. Nitrogen (N), Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorous (P), Potassium (K), and Nickel (Ni) are examples. These nutrients can be cannibalized and moved to support new growth elsewhere in the plant.
When there is a deficiency, plants typically move the nutrients from old growth to the top of the canopy, where they will be utilized most effectively. Deficiency symptoms then show up on the older leaves from which the nutrients are being removed.
Need more details to be sure but I'll wager Nitrogen.

If that statement is a mystery, I recommend you start by reading about your grow style and learning how to do it. Cannabis is not like a carrot where you just stick it in the ground and forget about it until harvest or you will get tiny little buds of questionable quality.
