alright guys I've got quite a bit of questions about growing with LEDs does anyone have pictures of their LED grows? How were the yields? Also is it harmful to keep the LED lights too close? If so how?

Yes, They will bleach/burn your leaves/buds. Start at 2 foot from top of canopy and experiment till you find what works best for the lights you have. For light peneratation you should consider cutting off fan leaves after bud sites form in flower that block light from bud sites.
You should also consider LED specific sunglases to wear while working with your plnts under the LED. I use Method 7 sunglaases, but they ain't cheap.

I thought that fan leaves soaked up the light and that the buds dont absord the light. It wpuld make harvest far easier if those leaves werent needed throughout flowering?

Yes thats true, and I disagree with removing the fan leaves, but from what I have read and seen first hand the leaves blocking bud sites have to be removed for the lower buds to do anything at all. I have only been using LED's about 6 months myself, still lots to learn. But penertration is poor with LED's if anything is blocking the light. I remove as few as possible.

Last option should be removing the leafs. That is their solar panels so don't slow them down. Tuck em and push em down out of the way
