I bought a pack of LAD and ARC as soon as the went on sale (also got a free pack of Eskimo Kush, thanks Logic!). I have just now got around to the LAD's so I thought I would share my experiences. I germinated the whole pack of 12 seeds. They all sprouted very quickly and I had a feeling I was onto something good from the start.

So I will take better pics, but I was procrastinating and took these with my phone to get my ass movin at 38 days of 12/12.

Here is the Chemdog D for reference (LAD3 to the left of the D). The D is has the 2 big colas in the middle.
The LAD12 is the big one in the back left and the LAD5 is back right. LAD 7 is the shorter one in front and to the right, the shorter ones are Deadhead OG #7's that I cracked a while ago.

Here is the LAD1, a more Alien Kush (Afghani leaner) and a keeper I think.

LAD3 - the keeper, we think. Stuctured similar to the D, frosted to death and oily. Big stems and looks like the LAD in the Alien pics .

LAD9 - biggest, densest buds so far, but not as sticky and oily. Also has some leaf clawing. MK-Ultra is the tall plant behind it (a gift).

LAD9 - closer

Group Shot with some other friends on the edges (C4OG and DHOG)

Here is a pic of the LAD7- the skinnier leaved short one

My LAD6 guy that didn't auto flower until the other day :(

More and better pics to come as the flowering gets good...

Here we are a week later. I forgot to say that I am also using Capulator's Benificials for the first time and I am noticing more resin. They are so oily that after giving a bud a little squeeze, my fingers are slick with the amount of oil before it thins out and becomes sticky.

LAD1

LAD3, really frosting up

Chemdog D for reference:

LAD5:

LAD12:

LAD7 and 8

LAD9 the biggest buds:

Below is a pic from one day later (today) of the LAD3:

Here is a shot of Chemdog #4 from today:

The room is 2 4x8's. I tray has 2 1k's and 1 has 3 600's. I like the 600's cause you can pop lots of seeds and adjust the lights for height differences. So I have a tall light, medium height light, and a short one on the 600's. Its all DTW in coco. The strains are 1 4x8 tray of Chemdog #4 (I love this girl!). The other tray is the experimental one. It has a 3 Chem4xSFV OG seeds (I was hunting for a male), 1 Deadhead OG cut that has a really great high and flavor (classic OG lemon pledge with a little 91 chem funk), 2 MK Ultras, 1 Lemon Skunk (last time), the LAD's, 1 Sage, and about 15 or so Sugaree OG.

Hiya Peach..decided to come in and take a look at what you were up to and your girls look great!

i had a great C4 pheno for a while, never wanted to lose her, but stuff happens. :( The meds were great for managing chronic pain induced depression, heady and euphoric, with a later body relaxing feel id liken to taking a mild muscle relaxant. Perfect for days that youve gotta get stuff done, but need a hand up and getting started. I still have a small jar of her that I have been rationing on those 'bad' days.

Does yours take a bunch of CalMag and keep asking for more? ;-D

The LADs look promising, especially 3 & 9. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Ladyv and KP,

I have learned to use a little less calmag after the onset of flowering to control the stretch. Calmag has a fair amount of N, so you have to consider it. I used the N boost this time and it worked great in veg. H&G has lots of Ca and Mg, so you don't need as much as other nutes. I use RO and about 3ml/gal of calmag. I am using cocos base to charge coco and aqua flakes in the res.

I agree about the N in the Ca products flower, when I was raising those girls I was in rockwool using AN nutes. My C4s would easily take 7-10ml/gal through week 4-5 otherwise I'd get def signs on her, she needed about 70 days to reach maturity.

What hours do you run your veg lights on? I had a really beefy looking ARC stud I was gonna use, up until it autoflowered on me. So I tossed him. After that, I had a knowledgeable friend tell me it is possible for males to flower under 18/6 lighting (or anything under), which is what schedule I use for veg. Now I'm not saying it's a normal thing, but he did provide a legit read from some text on the subject. Not sure why it's in the genetics, but I'm pretty sure it's coming from the Tahoe Alien side of the board, as it's happened to various of Aliens strains from what I've read. I'm just glad none of my ladies are pulling funny stuff:D Looking good homie! Keep up the GREEN work!

Hey 619, I was drooling over your ARC thread last night! My veg rooms is under 24hr light. My LAD's don't have any alien tahoe in them so I don't know what's going on with all the autos but it seems common. Thanks for stopping by!
