I found the buds in the flower room.

Day 40 HD Sage. You know someone who has these buds in 40 days?

Ok because its a sunny day ... all the room :D

This is how they look when you cut them down.

Tomato growers won't get this size of bud in 56 days .....

Wow that is seriously impressive this is the style I will be trying in my new set up do you think that you could achieve the same results if you were to use coco instead of the medium u use? I dnt know how to spell it so I dnt want to look like a retard lol. As far as I know I cant get that medium here in the us especially where I live. Also do you think its the hesi nutes help with these massive buds? I know genetics are the main factor for these massive buds but I'm trying to figure out the other factors because this is the exact same style of growing I will be doing shortly. I will be using a 4x8 sun hut with either 2 or 3 1000's or 3 or 4 600's i havent decided yet the reflectors will be the large adjustawings and 2 4x4 botanicare ebb n flow hydro set's I'm still not 100 on this but I was thinking of using 2 4x4 smart pots doing coco beds in the 4x4's I might use 6in rock wool blocks as well but I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the coco beds using the 4x4 smart pots. Along with a 13k btu portable ac and co2 I have lots of options since I'm going from running a 4k flowering room and a 1200 watt flowering room to just a 2k flowering room and a 4x4 vegg room as well. Any advise you could lend would be much appreciated. Since you said you tough limbo how to do this you must be very knowledgeable on this style of growing . I really appreiate all the great info you are giving us here and glad to have as part of the farm fam stay frosty bro.

Hi ProdigyGrower,

The medium is mapito. Its a mix of rockwool chunks in different size with dense foam and cotton.
I've used cocos in the early days and couldn't get the watering set 100% for the plants. You could
make your own mapito.

The nutrients I use are Hesi but could had been any nutrient. They have most the plants need for
a fair price. I add calgel or calgreen (different name but both will do) and use Canna enzymes at
the end and at the start. Thats all. No boosters or what ever. The most unbelievable detail is the
schedule I use. All grow I give Ec=1,3uS.

The gear you want to buy wouldn't be my choice. I would buy reflectors that beam down, use 400W
bulbs and split the room in 2. You can then cross ventilate the rooms what results in mega buds.
The CO2 and O2 levels in the rooms are compensated by the opposite room.

What dimensions is your room? Can you make a drawing?

Hang on you use all vegg nutes though out the bloom stage? the room I will be using will be a 4ft x 8ft x 7ft sun systems sun hut. I'll be growing in 2 4ft x 4ft white ebb n flow trays. I really like growing in pure coco. I have a thread on here called prodigy's big bushes you can check out my old grow if you want. I used to grow in 7 and 10 gal smart pots under 4 1000's but I was growing monster bushes with 40+ tops that would yield well over a lb per plant depending on strain of coarse. I know you dutch guys really like those pl lighting with the 400 watt bulbs but since I have 5 600's and 4 1000's that is what i will be using. Well not all either the 1000's or 600's. I even though about since you can use 2 600's in each large adjustawing using a 600 watt hps and a 600 watt super mh bulb in each reflector to see how that works. Do you think I could achieve the same results using just rock wool cubes in stead of the mixture? The nutrients I'll be using this time will be a new product called Vegg+bloom its a all in one powdered nutrient made by a company called hydroponic research its pretty awesome from the test grows I have seen use it. These guys swear by it and won't use anything else now. It's priced very well I believe there is a grow log or 2 on hear about vegg+bloom you should check out. The nutrient ratio is 16-10-30 but it has everything in it from what i understand even humic and fulvic acid and silica it also has a very good ratio of calmag. Thank you for taking the time to help me out I really appreciate it since this sog style of growing is all new to me and like my old style of growing. I want to find out as much as I possibly can b4 i get started.

That Sage pheno looks perfect as well for this style of growing, producing that one huge central cola. Its very impressive and makes tremendous use of the space available. Ive always been a big bush kinda guy, but im very intrigued by one big cola.

Hi Snowblind,

When you veg plants you get a jungle. Nothing wrong with a lot of buds
but to trim is a lot of work and you have waste time vegging.
When you only flower from start you get a main bud with many strains.

You have to put more plants a m2 and even this differs between summer
and winter. Some can't keep to much plants for their license but then
still I would flower from the start and make a split room.

sorry if I am misunderstanding something here. You do not veg at all? So one would be taking a seedling and throwing it onto 12/12 lighting from the get-go?

No not seedling hommie going straight from rooted clone to flower.

you can go 12/12 from seed as soon as it pops above gowned from what i understand. I would think using fem seeds would be the best for doing this but reg seeds would work the same.

I work with clones. They get 10 days to root in a stealth clone closet.

Depending on time of year I place 3 or 4 cuttings a crate.

Why cuttings and no seeds for me:

First the cuttings cost you one time money to get a good strain and then you can cut cuttings
that all have the same genetics. This is why I don't want grow from female seeds. Every seed
will sprout, grow, look different even if they come all from the same plant. Seeds are much
to expensive. A 10 day seed ain't as big as a 10 day old cutting.

When you want fill a room with only female seeds you have to buy a lot of seeds and the only
one who smiles is the so called breeder. Ever had 1 strain that was ready in the time on the bag?
With the yield they say it will have. It's all &&#&^ and a fancy name.

Looks great I have always ben impressed with limbo's cloning room do you also have an automated watering sytem for your clone room? Seriously impressed with your work glad your a part of the far fam HD. Hey have you only ben running the one strain or do you have other's your run at different times? I would like to know some of the genetics you have found to exceptional for your style of growing if you dnt mind again thank your for all your hard work and great information you have no idea how much this helps.

I'm no breeder. I would never ask money for seeds that nature gives for free.

I had many old school strains like K2, Citral, Silver, PP, NL-x, Santa Maria, Chronic and ....
but the best strain for me to grow is HD Sage. Most Afghan cross will grow 1 bud when you
don't veg them.

I try to make all automated so also watering the clones, the mothers, the flower rooms but
like to see the plants before I water. So I can flip the switch when all is ok. When I can't
water after 3 days I run the pumps on a timer.

The clone closet is fully automated.

This is my small stealth clone closet.

Hi ProdigyGrower,

I've those stems to but with the mother plants. The plants look healthy and
you give a lot of care. You harvest this style of grow some 4 times a year.
I harvest one site of the split room a month. I like to have all the time some
work and not all work in one time.

The setup with crates how I grow fills all the surface and has much more plants.
You get a see of green later filled with buds.

I didn't understand the statement by TattooJim this is why I ask.
It's no help to think you know ;)
