Hi ProdigyGrower,

I've those stems to but with the mother plants. The plants look healthy and
you give a lot of care. You harvest this style of grow some 4 times a year.
I harvest one site of the split room a month. I like to have all the time some
work and not all work in one time.

The setup with crates how I grow fills all the surface and has much more plants.
You get a see of green later filled with buds.

I didn't understand the statement by TattooJim this is why I ask.
It's no help to think you know ;)

I know your rite I really dnt know what he meant by that statement. I would just like to think it wasn't ment to be ignorant or malicious or anything. I understand the multiple harvests a year growing the style that you grow as well. That is another reason for me switching my style of growing dnt get me wrong I love growing monster bushes they are beautiful and I believe i have a firm understanding of plant manipulation and training. In my new grow I dnt really have the time to vegg my girls the 6 to 8 weeks it takes to get them to this size. Thats why i have decided to go with the coco sog beds style like your doing. The thing I'm still wondering about is how the genetics I have chosen to work with will perform in this style of growing since all of them are either Og kush ,Chemdog, Sour diesel or bubba kush type genetics. I believe that if i do enough research and have a good understanding of what I'm supposed to do I will succeed in this style of growing like i did the last style of growing i did. I'm only 23 and this truly is my passion and I'm completely dedicated to learning as much as i can so I can become the best possible grower I can. That is one of the things I love about growing the most is no matter how much you think you might know there is always something more you can learn to further your skills as a gardener.

Simply tell me. Only people who think they can do better have an hostile attitude.

My forum isn't for tomato growers only the chosen ones may enter.

Ya you are your a good grower ttj dnt short your self hommie and I dnt think we are the only ones who had a hard time joining just seems like you need to know some one to join you know kinda like a private form or something that doesnt mean your not a good enough grower and I know your not a troll or a hater hell i guess now that i think about it i was kinda pissed when i didnt get my conformation email from them but it was so long ago i totally forgot because it wasnt a big deal actually i think i tried to join their b4 i even knew about the farm. I dnt think HD has anything to do with who is allowed to join or whose not. He came here to be part of the farm fam like you and I are and help everyone out with the info he has to share and thats what its all about rite. I still dnt see where he was talking down to others maybe I'm just not taking it that way. I'm sure that's not was was ment but hey were all fam here were here because we all love this plant end of story and it really dnt matter who is better than who at growing as long as we are growing to the our best and smoking the best herb we can thats what matters you know.

I don't think you should have a problem with those varieties in HD's style. You really just need to figure out how many plants it will require to keep the same size harvests you are getting now. Since the OG's tend to be a bit thin and leggy, they usually can be a bit closer to each other because they are not going to really branch out into another plants space or light. I spent a fair amount of time growing varieties from the Chem family tree, they are rather easy to grow in SOG styles. Here are a few pics from an old cabinet I used to test strains. I would root clones, veg them for a week in my mother tent and then put them into the cab to flower. The pics just show the growth patterns of those type of varieties.

These are some SSSDH shots, the first is in a 16 oz. cup and you can see how compact the growth can be, imagine her scaled up.

And a few OG shots.

I hope this gives some insight as to how this family of varieties will grow.

Thanks for the reply Hennepdesk. It makes a lot of sense. Trying to find a winner from seed can be a pain. Selecting clones guarantees uniform plants.

Ok I don't like the vibes of many replies in this thread and they are misplaced.

A tomato grower is some farmer who thinks all will get better and the yield will
be huge when you choose 1000W bulbs, boosters, CO2 and what ever. But the most
important thing ... how the plant works they forget or even worse ... they just copy.
You can learn the trick but to understand the trick can make you and the plant
preform much better. I don't mean anything negative with it I only wanna show
the thoughts can be wrong. I'll never say someone to grow my style but the clever
growers want to learn and understand.

@ Smoking Gun

The buds look frosty and you have a nice smoke for sure. Ever wondered why the plants
look how they look? Did you take a look after harvesting at the roots? Its like bonsai ...
You don't allow the plant to make more roots then in that small bag then she can't grow
out to a big plant. You still had space in your setup to give the plant a bigger pot after
4 weeks so she had the change to grow out bigger and make a better yield.

@ Snowblind

Will you post a report?

@ C6j0e3

Yes to find the right strain is a lot of work and you have to be lucky ;)

@ ProdigyGrower,

Thank you and your right that I look at all with a positive mind but when
I doubt or sense it is negative I'll ask. You know it is like when a stranger
enters the playground some will accept and some will reject. The ones with
the positive vibes are curious and will give the stranger a change :) Maybe
the stranger knows a new game :D

Hey its cool HD i try to give everyone a fair chance until they give me a reason to do other wise. I really am interested in learning as much as I can about this style of growing so I can achieve the absolute best results rite out of the gate. Granted I have to find the rite genetics and pheno's to achieve maximum results but thats part of the fun i think. I'm glad you joined here I think we have lots to learn for you and that will benefit us all and I always like making new friends that share the same passion as I have.

Hennep, thanks for the advice. That cabinet was not really designed for yield, it was really designed to test strains and see what their potential would be in a larger system. There were other things in that cabinet that needed improvement to have increased my yields. But I was making due with the funds I had available and what I had to readily use. I had run experiments in that same cabinet with larger pots and found that more of the 1L containers I was using offered the best harvests. Again I appreciate the advice, and look forward to see more of what you have going on.

On another note, I really love that clone closet you have. I built a closet once for my clones and veg, but it paled in comparison to yours.

Thanks for the positive vibes and feedback.

I started a building report of a 12/12 flower room
https://www.thcfarmer.com/community...om-build-from-scratch-hennepdesk-style.50533/

So when you have plans to build or modify your own room then have a look.

Hi (limbo NOT limbo) HD, ;-)

Do you know the ratio of rockwool to cotton?
I live in NZ so shipping is out of the question.
I've tried your style before, before I saw it on you tube using 2x600wt in a 2mtr sq tent with 7 clones (strain indica) in 10 ltr pots using jiffy pots instead of mapito with nutrients from canna following the canna grow chart to 15ltr res.
Yes boost also :-L "tomatoes".
27 1/2 oz dried weight
45 days but instead of 1 big bud they stretched out and I was forced to tip shade leaf then I had height problems as the tent was too short 2.2mtr high.

Anyway you said you use veg nutrients all the way along with cannazyme at the end ..
Could you please explain why as there must be a reason for this.
Just need help to understand this do you use super vit or super thrive?

Thanks HD look forward to your reply :-)
