Their actually some breeders who have created their own auto strains for breeding, like Barney’s farm I think they call theirs BF1 auto or something in those lines. She's got a good deal of time. Auto's have gotten so much better. They were low yielders, and weak. I hear differently now.
Chocolate Diesel. If I had entered it in 2012 (I know, a long time ago) it tested what would've been the 2nd strongest strain on earth (High Times) @ 25.16.
Since I've made it about as pontant as I've seen. The strain is listed as "legendary". They have the cross wrong on Leafy. They say it's a cross of East Coast SD X Chocolate Thia. It's actually Chocolate Trip x East Coast. Very few had it, for whatever reason the strain got sick (I've seen nothing like it), but I separated a clone, and got it healthy. After that I selfed it, crossed it to get my Prehistoric strain, and back crossed it, and got the original back thst way as well. Remember, that's 9 years ago.

I had stopped buying seeds years ago, but I'd always check to see if Snowhigh ever re-upped. I actually just checked the other day, and it looks like he got out of the industry (doubtful, with his success), or something happened to him????Their actually some breeders who have created their own auto strains for breeding, like Barney’s farm I think they call theirs BF1 auto or something in those lines.
It appears to have some Grape Ape, or Super GA. Where the leaves shiny in veg, and or did the trichs start developing abnormally fast?Planet of the Grapes, 73 days (the end is nigh, amber or not).

It would compare to a lighter rather than a football. I try to avoid large colas. I never have a use for them after the "Oh wow!" factor wears off.It appears to have some Grape Ape, or Super GA. Where the leaves shiny in veg, and or did the trichs start developing abnormally fast?
It's so difficult to tell how large the colas are in almost all these pics.
Does that main compare to a football, or a lighter?
There are some pretty colas here, but they don't appear to be solid, and too many of the strains i see look like trimming nightmares.
Nobody particular, just what I've noticed since being back
Nice. At first glance, I thought you wrote you grew it under a 400 LED. Then I noticed it was outside. Nice genetics!! I'm guessing you either have a shorter grow season, or you didn't want them to get too large.Last years FROSTY ( TRIANGLE MINTS !!!!! ) Grown from seed under 400 watt LED through veg. Put her outside and got over a pound of flower!! Hope everybody enjoys her!View attachment 1109008

The way she stacks, a 420 veg would have been a massive yield.
Looks about 50/50, 60/40 Indica pheno.
That was trained well, and the type of plant I'd have grown out. Nice job, and the trim doesn't look like it was too bad.
It topped, and responded the way I like when I was looking to produce as much as possible. Thanks for those words. I actually topped this a few times to keep it short.
I just dumped a shit ton of money on all new Leds. Any tips on who to look at to get a whole set up going? I been outside for years and now have the space to do it inside! It topped, and responded the way I like when I was looking to produce as much as possible.
I tried several methods, and besides possibly a scrog of a mother, I'd train for 4 even heads per plant. 10 plants per table 1K, and dispose of the weakest plant.
2 week veg, flip (all my plants always seem to have a significant stretch). 2 level of trellis. I keep all leaves, but snip every sucker branch.
For tip top insane yield, 1 week veg, train for 1 cola, and pack each table.
3-4 lbs per table is not uncommon with a true SOG. The best way to get the highest possible yield.
for those running10k+ 1k lights/Botanicare tables(54 inches from edgeto edge), try doing the SOG on 1 of the tables.
Or, 12 2 cola plants per light.
I'd need at least an oz per head, and that would leave me at least 36 oz per table (some strains slightly less)
8 inch rockwool block, with rockwool croutons in a 1.5 gal container.
I will swith to coco in the summer for a more stable root zone temp.
Here's a little tidbit some may not know, but makes a huge difference. Nutrient solution at 67f holds 10x's as much oxygen than 77f. Once the root zone gets a bit warm, it's a risk for pythium. Ya do not want slime on roots.
I've mentioned this before, but it really is that important.
geez, out of breath
I don't know enough about LEDs.I just dumped a shit ton of money on all new Leds. Any tips on who to look at to get a whole set up going? I been outside for years and now have the space to do it inside!
Once I get really into it. I’ll give you a update as well on another BUMPER outside crop for the NORTHEAST!I don't know enough about LEDs.
When I was leaving the industry, there was a huge marketing campaign, and sorry to say propaganda. It worked like a charm!
The company's starting sinking a ton of money in advertising everywhere, and it was very believable. They would do comparisons, show pretty graphs, yada.....
From what I've seen, and the people I know who switched, they'll veg good, they have the perfect spectrum, and all, but they just don't produce in flower from everything I've seen in person.
The rule has always been 5,000 lumens per foot min. Idk how much the LEDs of today are putting out? Anyone?
Since you've set up for LED, I'd strongly suggest trying this. In your floeer room, put up 1 1000 watt hps (i used the cheap $27 ones, and produced as much, or more than anyone I've seen) Anyway, try putting up 1 hps, and see how it does next to an LED..
Although I'm a few years behind, I'd still bet the hps blows the LED away in quantity, and quality.
I'd like to see a good sized LED room at harvest. At that point, I could give a better guesstimate
you can't put leds in the same room as hps and try them to compare they need to be led in one room and hps in the other however some ppl recommend the hps with the the led so u can get the heat from the hps and the spectrum from the led and they do really well we took all the light out our barns and replaced all leds and couldn't be happier I personally pull way more weight off the leds with my lights on 50% thats like 300w a light we have 8 fluence spider 2i per room once u figure out how to grow with the led (cus it is different) grams per watt should be way better our last we got 1.9 per watt on a lower yielding strain but it was firesI don't know enough about LEDs.
