Ok thanks, never heard of this nor have ever seen it in any of my grows. Looked it up and sure enough that is what it is, appreciate the quick reply!variegation
After some research I don't think it is TMV, as it really hasn't been proven that it can spread to cannabis. Also the plants are healthy,
i just re read and looked at that last picture, and that is a good posibility also. i think i missed somehow that all 3 plants had the same issue.Hate to say it but I think you might have a pest issue. Although the variation of the leaf coloring may be a bunch of different things... the leaf curl in the last picture to the far left is concerning. Along with some of the spots on the other leaf in the picture closer to the stem. I would put those leafs under a microscope (top and underside of leaves) and check for pests.
Plants look great @wawa53Id say some kind or damge from mites. If so your in for a fight thats for sure., Im still battling them for 3 months good luck. I am now heating the room up to 115f for an hr once a week in our flower room and I spray the veg tent weekly now not giving up here is my flower room today they are still there as i find eggs but I am winning I think so far.
2 of the plants have the issue, White WIdow and Train Wreck, I read where this can be a genetic thing, in fact they specifically mentioned White Widow. With that said I snipped several leaves from both plants and put them under my egg scope connected to my laptop. I could not find any critters of any kind. I have had PM before and 2 spotted mites before in past grows as well as the usual gnats. But this grow all has gone great. They say it may decrease yields a bit but will wait as they just started into flower. The curled leaf could of been due to no water for 3 days. Am using a watering schedule that seems to take advantage of the super soil in the bottom 3rd from another site. I will continue to monitor and could be combination of the variegation and I may have had the LED light a little too close. I moved it 30 inches from top of plants and my HPS is 25-27" above the tops.i just re read and looked at that last picture, and that is a good posibility also. i think i missed somehow that all 3 plants had the same issue.
cool bro glad to hear it. Ive had variegation a few times guess im just lucky that way lol. i never noticed much of a problem having it.2 of the plants have the issue, White WIdow and Train Wreck, I read where this can be a genetic thing, in fact they specifically mentioned White Widow. I love closeupsHere are the close-ups of the back side of infected leaf from White Widow, and Train Wreck, and from uninfected, I renamed so you can identify
Here is the White Widow and Train Wreck top of leaf, there are only about 8 leaves on the White Widow affected and about 12 leaves on the Train Wreck, all others look fine good green color no discoloration and like I said the Northern Lights has been unaffected, all in the same tent, watered the same same potting mix, super soil etc. You can see the difference in coloring in the photo one side is green and other much lighter. So will just continue to care for them as I have been.May I see the other side please.
