I have a question, i am in a single bucket dwc. I have been away for 6 days i had a plant sitter come to the garden. They usually do an awesome job. But i was in stretch in flower about day 10 would be my guess when it started. i raised my light and threw down scrog before i left. well she bounced back quick and stretched quick. My sitter didn't recognize to raise the light. Is there any thing i should boost or drop while it recovers from this? i have never dealt with this because if i see it starting i raise the lights.

the parts that got burned you might as well cut off to avoid any problems like mold or disease. but as long as the whole plant wasn't cooked you should be fine just stick to your regular routine. I recent had a cfl that was clamped on the frame of my grow tent and when I zipped up the tent it moved the light to the point my cfl was leaning against one of my buds from a master kush burned one whole side of the bud just cut it off had no effect on the rest of the plant. good luck hope everything turns out alright

Should i trim the whole leaf or just the burnt parts? Some its the whole leaf others its just one side or one half. when i notice it and move it before it gets to this point its usually the upper tips and i leave them. this one its on the out sides of my scrog that stretched up the highest. I run a 600 watt hid at about 18-21 inches this one got down to a foot, i pulled it up to around thirty inches to give it some relief. and weaved everything back down.

depends how bad the leaf if its just the tips or a few small spots leave the leaf it can still be useful to the plant. I was talking more towards the buds needing to be removed if they were burned you don't want buds to have any dead spots

no its just the leaves. I have a lack of technical plant terms here. But im at day 17. i just have the small pistol balls that turn into flowers. some of the leaves are pretty fried around them but its the larger fan leaves., others its just parts of them, but i know a plant will continuly try to fix its self so i didnt know about stripping them or trimming them

This is a better pic, but this is not the worst one I can't get decent pix of the ones in back of scrog that are the worst.

I would just let them be. Your plants look healthy so I think you will be fine

So follow up question, the bud sight attached to burnt parts in pick are Orange-ing All ready. while everything else is still stacking, it is just one spot, right under light. I cut part of it off last week. Its starting to fatten up. The pistol sights are getting fatter. Except the one I've already cut on. Am I to late in flower to be hacking it off, should I let it go

If your plant is still getting fatter then let it flower longer. If your saying only the parts closest to light is turning Orange it could be too close to the light.

its the parts that originally got burnt i when it was in stretch, its no where close to harvest id say at least 5 or six more weeks. i just didnt know if that was going to negatively effect the plant. i cut some nasty looking parts off last week i thought these couple bud sites would be fine but they seem to be getting ripe while the rest of the plant is no where close. i tried to take picture, cant get a good one in hps. ill try and catch it before lights on so i can show you what i mean.

I think that would be normal from being burnt and trimmed but as long as the rest of the plant is doing alright just let it do its thing.
