Lighting distance for T5 2x4 fluorescent

I just started growing. Using ebb an flow. I like the know what is a good distance above plant now in veg state using T5 fluorescent 4x2

I was going to let someone who actually uses t5s to answer. I don't, but I do use 65w cfl which might be similar. 6" is where I would put it and let the plant decide from there.

yep 6-10 inches but watch her throughout the day as you may need to raise it a bit or not..
is a 4 tube or 1?

i’m guessing 4 ft t5’s with 4 lights

8 lites 54w 6400k. Right now I have 4 on about 10” away

well the top leaves look fine and reacting good..

10” is fine but you can go closer.

Ya you can go right to before contact before burn. Used them for years. Currently flowering a 5x5 under a 6 bulb and and 8 bulb but going into week 5 I’ll be swapping out to full spectrum led

Its been a minute since i used them but i think the 3200k coolwhite was for better for veg.
