It seems like I am having problem after problem with these Blue Dreams, started to notice clawing on my weakest of the bunch this morning and wasn't really worried about it but at lights on it has started in on all of them and the yellowing from the inside of the leaf out has gotten worse I thought nute burn possibly so I drained a third of my solution and put R/O, it is filling back up now, anyone think it is a deficiency? GH 3 part, cal-mag, protekt, flora nectar, diamond nectar, H&G roots excel, small amount of hygrozyme because I had foam problems with it, I just mixed this batch last night and that is what makes me think nute burn because they have been on like 660ppm, and last night with fresh bloom regiment it was at 910, sorry bout the shitty pics

Bro! You got really really good circulation, Im telling ya if you keep res temps under 70* you dont need any zyme of any kind, Id use the Nector sparingly, maybe 2mls per gall and then maybe bump it up if things look good, when you start aerating some of the zyme products and sweetners they tend to foam up pretty quickly.

Im running straight gh 6 m/ 9 B and 5mls Kool Bloom, and 5mls Cal mag per and my tubs could not be happier.

Btw Im really really interested in these Recirc DWC set ups, Id love to get one going!!
Its my new dream!!

I wanna use 15-20 gallon Brute Trash cans though, Wheres the best link to these set ups and parts list?

Why would good circulation stop your roots from getting hit.
Kpezzy you need to decide what your problem is and stop guessing. Changing you nute ppm just gaks your internal chemistry of your plant. Try taking a more focused pic of your plant and roots.I doubt if it is nute burn, I can not see that last pic nor do I see clawing in the others. Your leaves folding down losing its turgidity looks like it is lacking something. Most likely water pressure. Did you use that peroxide?JK

I believe it to be a deficiency. You stated you changed the res the night before, so I believe it is a def from the old tank, and good thing you changed it, or it would be worse today. I find it takes about 24 hours for the plant to show signs of defiencies. Your plants look mature enough to handle full strength GH 3-2-1, since GH is a gentle formula. Until the plants turn around, stick with the basic GH 3-2-1, and perhaps a couple drops of Superthrive if you have it. Make sure to ph your water close to 5.8

Everyone thank you so much for the help, you're right I have been acting very quickly and should have chilled out a lil, anyways I'll go take some better pics, all I put last night was fresh GH 3 part 250ml micro, 200ml grow, 250ml bloom, 45ml protekt, 45ml cal-mag, 800ml diamond nect, 400ml flora nect

I dont know! I never said that!! I never mentioned roots?
What i said or meant to say is this. Way to much aeration with zyme products or Sweetners cause foam! Thats what I said. this isnt a guess, Ive seen it with my own eyes several times.
ANd if res temps stay in the 60's that slime cant grow anyhow!! its a win win!
btw a couple capfulls of h202 per 20 galls kills any slime off as well. And a plant with micro slime on its roots droops, looks unhappy and growth comes to a halt!! Just my 2 cents.

You are right I was assuming you were thinking of the roots with that statement. I have a system down south that uses a high waterfall for my aeration. I have inches of foam on top of my rez. What's the drawback? And yes you can get pythium in the low 60's, it is just slower.JK

On a very general rule when leaves go up there is too much of something going on and the opposite when turned down. Not that it matters a whole lot but it does when dealing with Calcium how did you go about mixing your nutes? When you add cal-mag how much does that raise your ppm? Does part of your lid come off,if not you might want to do so. Another small problem in your design is that foil reflecting back to your stomata if you work on your lids I would work on that.Normally your plant should have covered it by now which is why I did not mention it earlier.JK

FOR THE MOST part your plants dont look too bad. it is uncommon for iron deficiencies. and you are using gh 3 part with micro so you should be good.

keep this last res goin for a week or so, what is ph? what is ppm? what istemp?

give the roots some time to establish more, and for deficiency to correct itself.

if it was an iron deficiency your water change with fresh solution should fix it.

iron is very difficult to use and diagnose, one capful can kill your plants. avoid the whole iron deficiency way of thinking asap.

I am not familiar with the nectar but you seem to be using a lot of it,almost more then your base nutes. Could be just a watered down product, but we will know when you run your calculations.
You should have a first aid kit before you even start to build. When you can get some N,P,K,Mg,Calcium,Iron is separate bottles(do not need much Pt of each.) Then if you have a problem you can use a floral spray on a branch to try to figure out what your problem is.This is a way to dial in your girls much quicker. Just keep good notes.
If It was me I would do a floral on a branch 3x a day at 1/3 strength with just your base nutes.See if you see any changes.
I think most have seen pics of plants by people like Zoo with no blemishes.(He makes us all look bad, he is no chemist he just loves his plants) Then they over react when they get one.
Just cut the opp side of your plant about 4-5" then pop rivet a hinge on or drill small hole for pop rivets later and just use wire ties now. Those who design dwc with no access to the roots will Always regret it later. JK
Your plants should be growing a min of an inch per day right now. In my first 2 weeks of a flip I get about 3-4" a day avg over those 2 weeks.

I am a slow typist. I use floral sprays with cal and iron as they are not mobile. Too much of anything and you gotta watch out though. Even if its 6' redheads.lol Suerte JK

My lids open and come off brother! I was getting an inch and a half a day before I flipped but when I flipped I topped them so they slowed down a little but not much , I have two new shoots from the top already I am going to go now and get some NPK Iron mg calcium, thanks for the help

That is kindof the problem the new growth doesnt it looks real light yellowing, but im going to let it ride a bit and quit taking such drastic actions
