Whats up guys, Lockebox is back with yet another journal. Huge shout-out to @SpiderFarmerLED I'll be using their SF2000 in this journal/grow and couldnt be more pumped.

Let's get into the stats:
Light: SpiderFarmer SF2000

Tent: 2x4x5

Air/ventilation: 4" inline duct fan set to push air out of the tent with 6" Walmart fan on floor for circulation. Plan to get a Walmart clip fan to clip to ceiling pointed at/above light when I can.

Media: soil- ff happy frog

Water- tap, pH around 7.6 will not be adjusting

Nutrients: Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, power Bloom 2-8-4 and glacial rock dust.

Pots: solo cup, one gal plastic, still deciding on finisher

Cultivar: Hades Throne

Breeder: Zaza Genetics

Photo/auto: photoperiod

Type: Regs, popping 5 hoping for 2 keepers

Temp/Rh: will not be monitoring

Plan: make it up as we go

Here's some pics of my evening and kickoff to a new grow

Right on LB! A friend of mine pick up some Zaza’s down in Fairfield Cali. You 2 Are the only ones I’ve ever heard try them. He had bad luck with the Mail’s and threw his own ineptitude fucked up the rest, so I don’t think he ever got one to the finish line. I know you will do better than him and curious to see the results. Good luck man! Don’t know what strain he had. I had to give him six of my starts so He had something to work with this summer. The boy drinks too much! Lol!

That's cool you had a friend try them, sucks about their luck. Yeah I heard about Zaza through Mr grow it on YouTube and then stumbled across his Instagram and figured I'd try one of his packs, I got it pretty cheap in some Instagram game haha.
I am pretty excited about this particular strain because one of its parents is Prince of Persia from khalifa genetics so there's some land race not far off in the lineage

Four out of five beans have cracked open and begun to show their tail.

Planted all 5 in solo cups of Happy frog and stuck them in the tent.
They're currently sitting about 45" away from the light which is set to 75% on the dimmer. Not sure how that'll do, waiting on the plants to tell me.

I don't have the fan in there yet but as they sprout and grow up a little I'll get around to cleaning it and getting it in there.
The inline fan however is on and set to low/medium blowing air out of the tent.

The exhaust will stay on 24/7 and the light is on a timer for 18/6.

Time to grow

When I came home from work yesterday, all five had sprouted. I didn't get any pictures but I did install a fan in the grow. It looks huge right now but will work perfect. Here they are today.turned the dimmer up to 80% @SpiderFarmerLED lets go

Not much to report on today. Day eight and nine from sprout and the Hades Throne are still doing their thing.
Had a drop in temperature last night and it's going to get even colder tonight into the 20s so I'll be kicking on the propane heater to heat the room. I don't think this should affect the tent too much but there will probably be noticeable temperature drop by a few degrees

Getting ready for the transplant to one gallon pots this weekend.
These genetics are seeming to be interesting lol. The best looking thing in the grow right now is the sf2000 @SpiderFarmerLED
I promise I'm not over watering man they just look like that

It may be. This tent is on the side of the room closer to the heater than my other tent so I imagine the humidity is probably higher. I don't have a thermostat controller for this tent currently though so I'm not sure

check to see if you can move the light a bit closer even if it’s only 5-10 inches.. if unsure than leave it..
your big leaves could be strain but i doubt it, it’s probably from too high humidity (have airflow it helps) or keeping the medium wet too long?
is there holes in those cups on the sides? roots need oxygen as well

I'm just a little puzzled cause I've been doing everything exactly like my other grows.

The light is kinda tricky to move the way I have it all set up so I might try turning up the dimmer, it's at 80% right now so I may bump it to 90%.

My other tent in the same room has only gotten up to 50% humidity in the past few days so I'm not sure why this one would be having issues. It is closer to the heater though idk. I'll clean the temp/humidity monitor this weekend and switch it to this tent.

For airflow I've got a 4" exhaust running 24/7 with a 12" fan on the ground constantly blowing the plants around (gently)

There's about 8 holes in the sides/ bottoms of all the cups and Ive always made them like this in the past. The soil seems to be drying out in a couple days like it should be at this point so I don't think it's staying wet too long.

The only thing I can think is maybe the temp is low in there? Outside has gotten colder and ive also noticed this light runs a lot cooler than my other setup. I'll definitely get that monitor in there ans see whats up.

I have a good feeling though that once I transplant them this weekend, we'll be back to smooth sailing

Haha "I've always made them like this in the past", I'm still a new grower listen to me
