I just removed several fuzzy catterpillars off PB3 like the one i pictured yesterday, also on the same plant. Guessing some eggs got laid somewhere that i missed, but maybe not...

No evidence of them having eaten much, if anything, which is weird considering their size and how often i check for inchworms and stuff. I didn't kill them i just moved them into the shrubs in the woods. Was very windy yesterday though. Maybe they got blown out of tree's and they're one of those caterpillars that can only eat the vegetation they're born on.

Tiny bits of mite damage and beetle damage here and there. But nothing that's concerning me really so far.

which part? them having blown out of trees?

Or not being to concerned with the beetle and mite signs?

lol i cant do much about the beetles besides pick em off when i find em. There so big they do damage before anything else can really take em out. And when its hot they like to feed at night. And the mites. Only very light signs popping on lower old fan leaves i have no problem pulling anyway. And i have a box of 5000 live native specie predatory mites should arrive tomorrow too.

I did do one last spinosad/pyrethrin about a week ago only on lower fan leaves. seemed to throw em way back. There werent even really fully established yet. And tomorrow they will start getting besieged by giant viscous monsters to boot.

The aphids and mites were actually a lot worse back in KC

I stopped worrying about the biggs and PB2 back in may, bugs dont really mess with them, interestingly enough however, they're lookin like they're prob gonna be my big mold/mildew risks this fall.

But i got 50% mutants out of seed no one else got mutants from. And even repeat mutations from separate seedstock (Maybe theres a mutagen of some kind contaminating my compost? i just had that thought) And my indicas are still behind my sativas handily. Or Maybe im the weirdo and weird just follows me around.

It's really not me, it's the goat shit, pumice stone, and mineral rich mountain loam over bedrock. The very same thing cannabis spent the last 25,000 years of it's history growing from in Nepal, India, and Afghanistan. just doing my best to stay outta their way tbh.

Thank you though :)

chicken manure makes a great first half of season manure, as long as you compost it first. You can actually N burn plants with uncomposted chicken shit lol. Transition to goat in fall. That's how many of the old head outdoor growers in Spain used to run it. Most the old hippies up in the moutains do composted chicken first half of season, fresh goat second half.

Goat poo you can throw down fresh, you can dry it and grind it and mix with loam and stuff as a water through top dressing. You can even mix it right into the topsoil and go. Great stuff. It's almost like cannabis evolved with goat shit being thrown on it

You can grow fire flower doing nothing at all but goat shit year after year nothing else, you wont have the best yields, but itll be fantastic smoke. Thats all they do to the plants, if anything at all, in the Indian and Afghan mountains. Carts of goat shit. Same in thialand and southeast asia. Lots and lots of goat and cow shit.

The best tasting, best smoking, nicest high, all around nicest cannabis flower ive ever smoked was all outdoor grown goat shit sativa buds lol. How much i loved the goat shit buds is really the only reason i threw clones outside at all in KC. I had a perpetual DWC going indoors for profit/consistency lol.

I just wish i didnt have to crry the buckets of shit. Or grind it up and spread it. If i didnt have to do that the plants would grow themselves xD Although to be fair, you could probably plant a Peaceblaster seed in a random woods clearing somewhere, water it once, and come back in fall and expect some flower

The rastafari say, that if you can grow cannabis from the earth at your home. When you inhale the herb, you inhale the home it grew from, which is also the home you grew from, you inhale the tears of the sun, and it brings you closer to all that is.

Lights off on first night of 12/12.

Point Break CBG
Maui 86
Punch Pie
Special Queen #1
Cali Blues
Peanut budder breath x Cinderella Man

May hit a stray branch or two (or few) with some Haymeadow Male Pollen on a paintbrush.

Theres some homemade compost in the soil. Some jobes micro life rich pellet feed. Probably just gonna do flora micro/bloom because they sell it at the local co op as cheap as amazon. Some cal mag and light armorsi since RO water. Not much else tbh. Gonne be a lazy go at it. Should be pretty smooth sailing.

Oh yea, i released 5000 predatory mites into the patch on Monday and forgot to mention it. Wish i had a portable USB scope. Bet there's some total carnage on that OJ x BB #2 plant im continuing to dislike more and more. Hates humidity, very mite prone, and still hasn't decided to go into flower yet.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!
Ive grown a fair ammount of blueberries when I had a small improvised indoors, I hate them now. Sometimes they are very pretty though. But always some problem in every run with one of them or more. Maybe someone can tell me which bank has a stable blueberry strain because Ive been done with them for years lol. About the OJ I have no idea, never grown it nor california orange but OG Kush genetics depend a lot on the breeder, a strain with a lot of potential if bred properly but also can be underwhelming. I never liked Dinafem OG Kush and is not that I dont like Dinafem, I think their current bank Silent Seeds is pretty solid.
To be fair, I bought the OG Kush from Dinafem when they were already starting to have problems, maybe that had something to do with the quality or the age of the seeds.
