You know I thought I had a strong enough understanding of how dwc worked. I have come to the conclusion that I do not so yes I would like some tips and some pointers and some advice from someone with some real solid experience on how it works. I am going to run the autoflowers that I just got in my new gear and soil in an organic soil mix I use up blend of ocean forest and Happy Frog I've always been very happy with that. Once upon a time I used to use Roots organic if you look back in my history. Based upon advice from subcool I stopped using Roots organic due to that advice and research I discovered they commonly ship dirt carrying spider mites as well as a couple of other pests that you don't want in your garden. All of that aside however I do want to get more exposure to an experience with a hydroponic style of growing and I do like the dwc method I think for Reservoir temperature control I would like to add a but I believe it's called a control bucket to my system where all of the buckets feedback into a main reservoir that then uses a submersible pump that feeds all of them and then they drain back into the main reservoir just using gravity but definitely let's let's get into this more

here is my few starting points of advice..
yes you need a control bucket for starters.. I recommend going cheap with the waterfarm recirc kit.. $50 amazon... it works off your air pump.. and it comes with its own air pump in kit...
I post pics of it and the build...
use hydrogaurd is a must!!!!!!!! in dwc with out a water chiller! No exceptions!
And run all the same strain in the system.. dont mix autos and regs...
Your seed germming problems are getting ready to come to an end :)
put seeds in frezzer... materfact store them there!
but put seeds in frezzer for 24 hrs
drop in glass of tap water for 24 to 48 hrs,
put in folded paper towel on suaser, wet, drain water off saucer, put in warm space.. I set mine saucer on hear pad on timer 15 mins on 15 off....
soon as they get tap root put in rapid rooters...
once they pop, and grow for about a week with good roots coming out rapid rooter then put in dwc bucket and top water every day around the rooter ONCE, untill you see roots coming out bottom of net pot. Make sure your water level is RIGHT at bottom of net pot!
Those are my starting recs!
The kit

the build..

Okay So I have stored my seeds in the freezer.
I have to wait a bit on the kit I dont have the funds right now. Maybe in two or three weeks. Also it looks like that kit only has enough stuff for 4 buckets so how does that leave me a control bucket or is that a 3 bucket system with one control?

I want to run my seeds plants in soil for the moment anyway and run clones in Hydro which makes it easy to have no problem with the nutrient stuff. I plan to just run the new auto seeds completely in soil to just get whatever I am gonna get out of them. If the one Critical Jack Auto I have now does as well as she looks like she is going to do over the next 30ish days she has left I will try to trade for another light.

I have one plant ready to clone my Mendo Purps X Somango but I am unsure of sex still.
