Hey there,
My first grow in a new location. Have nine Casey Jones about to go into flower and expect to start vegging nine Skywalker right after that. However, we have travel plans in September. I am looking for someone nearby to plant sit while we are away. It could either by exchange of service or pay for service. Just need the basics, top off with fresh water and adjust pH, and raise the lights.

Contact me here. I'm in the 91320 zipcode.

you don't have any trustworthy friends chem? lots of trustworthy people here but I'm not sure searching the internet for a plant sitter is too safe. I'm in the same boat though, 5-6 day vacations max for me.

We've found a local young man who's fairly reliable, very Christian, doesn't smoke but is 420+. I still try not to plan anything for longer than a few days, though, because something seems to always go wrong when you're gone and have something in flower. Going this route, as much as I love the farm and my fellow farmers, isn't advisable.

Sounds like you need to investigate how to hook up a drip system on a timer.

Trust no one with your garden. Make provisions to cover yer ass or stay home. That's how we do it here, anyway.

Sounds like its hydro and already automated so just set up a large freshwater res with a float valve. Cost you next to nothing. Gravity feed so simple. I bet your ph wont be as big an issue as you think. Most nutes are chelated these days and can actually be absorbed in a much wider band than we realise. Also say your system ph rises you can change the ph of the water in the top up tank to counter the rise. The top up tank ph will have very little ph movement while your gone because without plants in it directly there will be no ion exchange going on.

Hope that helps. I used to run it that way when I did RDWC and I could leave my garden for 2 weeks at a time. Never had any major issues when I got back. Some minor stuff but nothing that couldnt be easily remedied by simply getting back on a steady routine.

I also found just running base nutes while your away. No additives can help keep ph stable and avoid other complications which can arise
