Also whenever I go in the tent lights on or off there is no condensation whatsoever on the walls like I would think there would be if the humidity is at like 90 % unless I'm just thick as shitHi everyone, now I'm after some advice/help if any of you guys cud lend me your expertise it wud be greatly appreciated, but I'm currently running 3 runtz muffin, I'm currently 3 weeks into flower and everything's looking great with My plants health wise and everything looks like it should, however the problem ice got is the humidity is shy high and I have no idea why, its 65% when the lights are on, 85-90 % when the lights are offmy current setup is as follows I'm growing in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 m tent, 3 plants in 18 Ltr pots, grown in canna coco professional, under 2 hps lights running at 400w each, I'm hand watering 3 times a day until runoff, I'm feeding canna a + b, cannazym, cyco boost and cyco sugar rush, my ecs been at 1.3 but just currently bumped up to 1.5, I have 2 oscillating fans going, I have a four inch inline fan bringing in fresh air from outside, and a 6 inch ac infinity exhaust fan and carbon filter taking the air out. So yeah I have no idea why the humidity is so high and I've never had the issue in previous grows under the same conditions, so anyhelp wud be greatly appreciated like I've said thanks in advance
HiyaI think you have an instrumentation issue.
I run 90 - 95% in my mushroom grow tents and it's like a rainforest in there with condensation everywhere to the point I need to vacuum water off the floor from time to time.
What is your lung room RH?
Hi there, so I've got my tent set up in my cellar so when you say lung room, is that the cellar your referring too ? Sorry if that's a stupid question, but I'd rather seem stupid than just reckon I know what your saying, as for the condensation that's exactly how I'd presume it to be with such high humidity, so I tried another hygrometer and it's giving the same readings and that is why I'm confused to hell, I'm currently checking the humidity of the cellarI think you have an instrumentation issue.

Hiya thanks for taking time out to help our, I moved one of the fans last night to below the canopy and it made no difference but I will move the other one now and see if it helps, everything is bone dry in there I keep checking coz I thought everything would be soaked, but the filter is also bone dry , I have 1 hygrometer at canopy height and anther one beneath the canopySensor calibration and placement…. If you stuff that thing in the plants your gonna get high readings if you need to improve air movement. Take the filter off before it gets wet and further restricts air flow.
Move the sensor to canopy height out of the light.
But before you do move your fans to blowing through and under the canopy not above as thats what counts and i bet it drop the humidity in the canopy a lot
Yeah no problem, thanks for taking time outYes by lung room I mean the area that you are exhausting into and pulling from.
Temp and RH of cellar please when you have it.
Hi its saying my cellar is 24.1 and 75 % humidityYes by lung room I mean the area that you are exhausting into and pulling from.
Temp and RH of cellar please when you have it.
But again everything in my cellar is bone dry, I've got loads of stuff in cardboard boxes and averythings dryHi its saying my cellar is 24.1 and 75 % humidity
That's what I suspected pal coz there's no way them boxes would still be intact if humidity is what it's saying would they surely?? But that's why I tried another hygrometer but that ones saying the sameI think your sensor is suspect.
And I'm in the UK so I'm hardly battling tropical weatherThat's what I suspected pal coz there's no way them boxes would still be intact if humidity is what it's saying would they surely?? But that's why I tried another hygrometer but that ones saying the same♂ now I guess it's not impossible for them both to be faulty but what are the chances ?
In the fridge they go pal, I'll try owt right now because it's seriously driving me madTry putting them both in the fridge for an hour and then checking the reading. Do they match?
How do I reset my digital hygrometer?
Place the cap inside the bag with the hygrometer. Seal the bag and wait 4 hours. Through the bag, push and hold the green button until the hygrometer resets itself to 75. Once it has reset, remove from the zip lock bag.
