I am currently growing in a 4x2x5 VivoSun tent with a fecida cr1200 light, the light says it’s 260watts. I bought the light off Amazon as a new grower I wanted to keep a tight budget until I learn more. However I’m starting to wonder if I went too cheap with the light and will regret this decision during flowering. There are a couple lights I’ve been looking at but wanted some advice before throwing anymore money at this thing.

Do I stick with my current setup and see where it goes?
Purchase a 300 watt VivoSun light?
Purchase a 200 watt spider farmer light?
Purchase a 450 watt PHLIZON light?

All 3 are similar price points and leaning towards the VivoSun because I have their tent and exhaust with controller.

These are my 11 day old seedlings seem to be doing ok under current setup. Light is 12” away @ 20% getting 300 ppfd with the Photone app.

Any advice is appreciated

I would get a different light. Usually the super cheap Chinese lights will make that decision for you after several months of use bc they usually dont last very long.

Hey man,
I was you once. Step in to the big leagues and thank yourself. Go with a 600w or 1000w led right away. Check out this post and the difference between 300w Bruple LED and 600w full spectrum panel

My vote would be for the G3000, I have 2 Se3000 and a G3000 different diodes but good light regardless fills a 3x3 nicely

Get photone app.. free for android. I think if you have apple you gotta pay like everything else !... Apple suck .. See what your light is capable of producing ppfd's and DLI .. theres a calculator with it especially formulated for weed.. good luck

Exactly what I’m afraid of, that and being too tight of a spread. Would hate to waste 4months of time because I went cheap
